Read One Piece Manga Chapter 665

Summary:

Franky tries to get used to being in Chopper’s body. He can change into Guard Point and comments on how unstable Chopper’s body is with all his different forms. Chopper replies that he’s used to it. The kids roll Franky in the snow while Luffy rides him. Sanji learns from Brook that the samurai left to find his torso and begins to fear for his safety as he has no means of defending himself with only his head and legs, while Sanji considered himself responsible for his safety when he was only his head. Luffy gives Sanji and Brook permission to search for the samurai. When Brook asks Sanji to let him see her (Nami’s) panties and Sanji gets excited at the prospect of taking pictures of Nami’s body, Nami becomes enraged and convinces Zoro to go too, reasoning that Sanji and Zoro’s inevitable fighting rivalry will be a distraction. Sanji from doing perverted things with his body. Sure enough, within moments, Sanji and Zoro argue, Zoro angry that he had to come because of Sanji’s twisted new attitude, and Sanji angry at Zoro for not understanding how ecstatic the body-switching situation made him. Brook is slapped by Nami as punishment, and to discourage him from wanting to see her panties.
The rest of the Straw Hats discuss their next move. Nami’s first priority is to return everyone back to their original body, as she does not like being in Franky’s body as she considers him a pervert. Franky (who has now turned into Chopper’s Brain Point) takes Nami’s insult as a compliment and makes a typical Franky face in Chopper’s body, which disgusts Robin. Franky notes that whatever they do, the kids will be a burden.
Chopper finishes performing tests on the children. Immediately, the eldest child, Sind, falls to the ground in pain. Luffy asks Chopper to heal him, but one by one the other giant children fall, holding their heads in their hands. Nami asks Chopper if the kids were really sick, to which he says no. He asks Sinda if there is anything she wants and what, if any, activities they do at that time each day. Sind, still in agony, tells him that every day all the children will be examined and given sweets. Chopper is confused by the candy and the other kids say that the candy is weird and tastes good. Sind says he feels really happy when he eats it and is convinced it will stop the pain. Chopper, having learned the truth about the children, becomes enraged. He yells at the chained up Brownbeard that the children aren’t actually sick like they were told before. Brownbeard claims that although he doesn’t know much about what’s going on inside, their benefactor, the Master, is a loving scientist who saved the children and gave them free medicine. The fact that the children are in pain and not receiving their daily meds proves that they are sick, he says, but Chopper matches the results of his analysis – each contains a small but sufficient amount of the drug known as NHC10. their bodies. The drug is a powerful stimulant whose use is strictly restricted worldwide due to its dangers and addictive properties. Chopper learned about the drug during his time with Dr. Kurehy, where he learned that proper medicinal use requires only a very small amount to be used to prevent addiction. Chopper concludes that the children were given small amounts of the drug every day for a long period of time, so the addiction forces them to stay in the research facility. Chopper demands to know from Brownbeard what his master’s intention is for the children, but Brownbeard is angry with him, believing that Chopper is only insulting his savior.
Luffy suggests going to the research facility to find candies to stop the withdrawal symptoms, but Chopper says no, since the candies are the means by which the drugs are delivered. Sind begs Luffy for candy, who refuses, trusting Chopper’s judgment as the crew’s doctor. Sind lowers his hands from his face to reveal bloodshot eyes, a runny nose, and saliva dripping from his mouth, horrifying the other children. Furious at Luffy for not getting the candy when he originally said he would, he throws it into a nearby fallen pillar. Robin is impressed by Sind’s physical strength. Usopp, though surprised, remarks that it must be the power of a giant child, but the other children reveal that none of them are actually giants; they were all normal size when they first came to the island and grew bigger and bigger the longer they stayed on the island. One of the children believes that the growth must be the ‘disease’ they were told, but Chopper disagrees and instead concludes that the rapid growth comes from experiments that increased their pituitary hormone levels.
As the other children gradually retreat as well, Luffy prepares to subdue them, but to make sure they come to no harm, Usopp successfully puts them to sleep with his new Sleeping Star attack instead. After discovering that the children were indeed kidnapped, Chopper wants to rescue the children and return them to their parents, but Franky and Robin note that they must first find the real culprit of the experiments: the Master. Chopper and Nami stay behind to take care of the children, though Chopper expresses a desire for revenge against the Master and Nami’s reasons for staying seem to be fear (according to Usopp). Luffy has the biggest children chained up to prevent further rampage. Luffy, Usopp, Robin, and Franky prepare to travel to the research facility to meet the Master, though Franky mentions the fact that at some point they will need to find Trafalgar Law to recover their bodies. Luffy seems to find this pointless as he enjoys the shenanigans that have taken place.
The scene changes to the path to the mountain behind the research facility. Zoro, Sanji and Brook are lying in the snow. Zoro and Sanji are face down, while Brook is face up and sprawled out, his drawn sword sticking out of the snow near his head. The shot pans out to reveal that the trio are in the middle of a trail of two giant footprints, each barefoot and several times the size of a human body.
At the research facility, Caesar Clown, Trafalgar Law and Monet are sitting around a table. Caesar holds Smoker’s heart in his hand as Law looks on silently, a displeased look in his eyes and a frown on his face. Caesar is in a good mood thanks to capturing Smoker’s heart and says that he has already sent troops to the marines and that he knows what the outcome will be. Monet asks what happened to the Straw Hat, and Caesar explains that after taking Monet’s warning about the Straw Hats’ possible power increase seriously, he sent two powerful people after him: the Hitmen of the Snowy Mountain, the “Yeti Cool Brothers”. The two are seen from behind in silhouette. They are huge figures, each with a rifle on their back.
