Summary:
Aboard one of Buster Call’s ships, Dobrman is asked by one of his men if they should attack the Bridge of Hesitation, where Nico Robin is. The vice admiral retells a story from 15 years ago when one assisted in an incident against a group of pirates. The same boy was Rob Lucci, who is currently on a mission to get Robin.
The remaining Marines on the island rush to the Sea Train to find that there is no driver, but board it anyway. Underground, Zoro, Sogeking and Sanji suddenly find water flowing behind them and run for their lives. Unfortunately, the water is pouring in from both sides, and ahead, Nami, Kokoro, Chimney, Chopper, and Gonbe are heading their way. Zoro tries to cut through the wall, but unfortunately, the tunnel is solidified and cannot be cut through, at which point they are engulfed in water.
Lucci is nearly unconscious after being hit by Luffy’s Gomu Gomu no Giant Pistol. He reminds himself that he can’t afford to fall into the water. He uses the technique to survive and lands alive on the battleship. When he recovers and transforms back into human form, the Marines try to find out who he is and arrest him, but the Vice Admiral prevents them from doing so. They soon realize that the man is CP9’s Rob Lucci. Lucci tells them all to shut up because hearing their whining offends him. Luffy comes after Luca and attracts attention.
The Marines fire at Luffy, but Luffy fires and targets Lucci. Lucci dodges Gomu Gomu no Gigant Axe. Lucci transforms into his devil fruit beast and bites Luffy’s shoulder. Luffy blows Lucci off by drawing air back into his body. Luffy uses the Gomu Gomu no Gigant Whip to knock down the battleship’s mast, which again leads to Lucci escaping. Lucci believes he has arrived at Gear 3.
Just then, one of the vice admirals orders an attack on the battleship in an attempt to kill Luffy, despite the fact that there are a thousand marines on board. A soldier who questions him about their allies being threatened is shot dead in front of everyone.
