Summary:

Zoro and Nami are horrified when Robin collapses after being electrocuted. Zoro rushes to her within seconds and catches her before her body hits the ground. She roars with rage and reminds Enel that she is a woman. Enel carelessly detonates it, prompting Zoro to attack him. He praises Zoro’s strength as he blocks his strike, only making Zoro angrier. He then uses his staff to jump into the air above Zoro. Wyper takes advantage of the opening and fires his Burn Bazooka at Enel. However, Enel counters with his lightning, creating a flash so bright that it temporarily obscures Wyper and Zoro’s vision. Enel further taunts the group that they don’t understand his power as Nami is amazed at Enel’s abilities from her hiding place. Enel questions why the group is attacking him after his invitation to paradise. Zoro angrily retorts that he has no interest in Enel’s dream world and charges at Enel again despite Nami’s protests that he cannot defeat the lightning user. Zoro is able to cut through Enel, but it’s no use as he effortlessly reforms his body from electricity. He grabs Zoro’s swords and directs his electricity right through them – electrocuting Zoro. Zoro falls to his knees before Enel stomps on his head. Enel goes on to explain that men will always kneel and beg for God’s mercy when they are frightened, while Zoro wonders how he can be so powerful. However, his speech is interrupted when Wyper wraps her legs around Enel’s body and places a hand on his chest. Enel asks if he’s going to commit suicide, and is a bit confused when Wyper responds with a question of his own: if Enel has ever heard of Seastone. As Zoro ponders the consequences of still being under Enel’s feet, Enel himself remarks that his power is drained. Enel then deduces that Wyper is attempting to use the Reject Dial and warns the Shandia warrior that his body will not be able to do so. Wyper replies that he actually planned to die and take Enel with him when he fires the Reject Dial. The massive impact causes Enel to cough up blood as Wyper dwells on his fallen comrades and words of wisdom from Chief Shandia.
As children, Wyper, Genbo, Kamakiri, and Braham were told the story of how their Shandia ancestors defended an ancient stone slab 800 years ago. Raki listens from cover. Although their people were successful, they lost many men in the process. It was the will of their surviving ancestors to forever guard the message of the ancient tablet from then on. The kids join the rest of the story as they realize that 400 years ago the island was shot down to Skypiea. Their ancestors were unable to defend the land against the original Skypieans and so their ancestral land was lost. The Chief confirms that they have lost a lot of value by not being able to defend their homeland, especially what is called “The Light of Shandora”. Wyper goes on to discuss Shandia’s recent attempts to reclaim the land as he stands over Enel’s now unconscious body. Nami starts to run over to the bodies of Robin and Gan Fall, but the group is suddenly startled when a large amount of electricity begins to pulse from Enel’s body. Enel uses his electricity to restart his heart and is soon back on his feet. He declares that mere humans cannot make God feel fear because true terror only comes from God.
