Summary:
When Miss All Sunday reads the poneglyph, she shows frustration that this is all this country is hiding. Crocodile then comes in and praises the fact that the poneglyph was well hidden. All Sunday, Crocodile tells Miss to read the poneglyph aloud, which she does, reading aloud many facts about the history of Arabasta. Crocodile interrupts her and tells her that he is not interested in the history of the country and just wants to know where Pluton is. Miss All Sunday tells Crocodile that there is no mention of Pluto on the poneglyph, much to War’s disappointment, but he mentions that he will now dispose of Miss All Sunday, telling her that she was a more than capable partner.
Crocodile comments that their four-year arrangement ended because she led him to the poneglyph as she promised, saying that she was an incredibly helpful woman whose contributions to Baroque works are invaluable. As Crocodile tells Miss All Sunday that she failed him by not giving him any information about Pluton, he attacks her, which she barely dodges. Miss All Sunday, who revealed that she had been waiting for the Crocodile to resort to it, pulls a water container from her coat, fully aware of her weakness. Before she could pour the water on the Crocodile, he turned to sand and dodged, appearing behind Miss Full Sunday and impaling her with a hook. As Miss All Sunday falls to the ground injured, Crocodile tells her that he forgives her, having never trusted anyone to begin with.
Crocodile claims that he is aware that Pluton exists due to Cobra’s reaction to him when he mentions the name, and realizes that he can find him without the need for poneglyphs. There is a rumble in the underground chamber as Crocodile comments that it is too early for the bomb to explode. Cobra reveals that he moved a small pillar to prepare to topple the entire chamber, wishing to take the crocodile down with him. Praising his motives, Crocodile tells him that he can escape with his Devil Fruit abilities and starts laughing that in 3 minutes all his problems will be solved and he can take over Arabasta.
Back on the surface, Vivi trips and falls as she frantically runs to find the cannon. He ignores his leg injury and tries to think about where the bomb would be with 2 minutes left. When Usopp is hit by a stray bullet from a member of the royal army, he fires back with his Smoke Star while Vivi manages to find the cannon’s location. Trusting her judgment, Usopp fires his Red Serpent Star, which appears as a red flare to alert the other Straw Hats of their location. Luffy wakes up after a short nap to find a hidden staircase, knowing it is near the Crocodile.
