Summary:
Momonosuke’s Devil Fruit is discovered by Yamato and Agent CP0 reveals how it was made. Meanwhile, the samurai welcome Oden, only to discover that he is an impostor created by Kanjuro.
Yamato and Shinobu defend Momonosuke from the enemy beast pirates, but Momonosuke is frustrated by his inability to take care of himself. He accidentally transforms into a pink dragon and shocks Yamato. Momonosuke explains that when he was in Punk Hazard, he broke into a restricted area and ate a fruit, not knowing it was Vegapunk’s SMILE fruit. Yamato comments that his ability is very similar to Kaidou’s.
Agent CP0 explains how this fruit was made. Scientists at Punk Hazard, led by Vegapunk, created the fruit by extracting Kaidou’s lineage factor. However, the experiment was considered a failure and the fruit was left in the laboratory after closure.
While in the corridors, Momonosuke somehow reveals that Luffy is losing the battle. On the roof, Luffy and the worst generation fail to hit Kaidou in his hybrid form even once.
At the treasure vault, the Nine Red Sheaths are happy to see Oden, assuming he must have escaped the boiling pot and survived. However, Ashura becomes suspicious and cuts open Oden’s face, but does not bleed. Additionally, Oden stabs Ashura with his sword, confirming that he is an impostor. It turned out to be a Kanjura drawing. Kanjuro says that he was mortally wounded by Kiku and would not survive the battle, but plans to kill Momonosuke in his final moments.
