Summary:
The Queen tells the Beasts Pirates to fight Luffy and Zoro. Scratchmen Apoo hits with his Devil Fruit ability, but is attacked by Kid.
Recalling how he fed Tama in Okobore City, Luffy explains how wasteful the party goers were. Zoro decides to join Luffy and fight the remaining Beasts pirates in the party hall. Queen watches them from above, disappointed that Luffy has escaped from the prison mine.
Scratchmen Apoo notices and recognizes Luffy and Zoro and decides to play a song on his record player while Luffy and Zoro continue to destroy the Beasts Pirates. Queen realizes that Babanuki lied to him when he announced that Luffy and Kid were safely behind bars. Queen calls out to all the party goers and offers a place in Tobiroppo the person who captures Luffy.
Kid remembers when he met Apoo and Hawkins. They formed an alliance together as three members of the Worst Generation. However, that was when Kaidou jumped off the sky island and into Kidou’s lair. Kaidou was upset that two members of the Worst Generation took away his SMILE fruit supplier. Apoo, who had been linked to Kaida all along, helped capture and imprison Kid.
Luffy and Zoro fight several Gifters, but Apoo hits with his Devil Fruit ability. He punches his chest and creates a sound wave that hits Luffy like a punch. The next attack slashes Zoro in the chest with an invisible force. Luffy is momentarily knocked out by Apoo and creates an explosion. Even though they take off their disguises to fight better, Apoo still defeats them and flies into the air.
Kid decides to strike out on his own, using his devil fruit ability to draw metal around him. He creates a gigantic metal arm and uses the “Punk Gibson” attack to slam Apoa into a wall, breaking his glasses.
