Summary:
Toki cares for Oden after he saves her from kidnappers. The next day, they are confronted by the kidnappers and their leader, Karma. Whitebeard hits and knocks out Karma. Whitebeard accepts Oden into his crew because of his selflessness.
Toki, Izou, and black passengers Inuarashi and Nekomamushi also become part of Whitebeard’s crew. Oden travels to different places and has many exciting experiences. Oden and Toki also have a son together and the child is named Kozuki Momonosuke.
Toki took care of Oden as he recovered from the swelling. Toki explained that she dreamed of going to Wano Country. However, the next day they are confronted by criminals from earlier, the Takotopian pirates led by their captain Karma. However, Whitebeard suddenly appeared and knocked Karma out with a single hit. The other thugs were terrified at the sight of the emperor.
Because Oden had given up his ambition to save the woman, Whitebeard allowed Oden onto his ship. Izou, Toki, Inuarashi, and Nekomamushi were also recruited. Oden proved to be one of the most powerful of the crew as he sank the enemy ship before his crew had a chance to loot it. He traveled through several distant lands and recorded all his adventures in his diary.
Oden became close to Toki, who explained that her parents were born in Wano Country, so she wanted to visit the country. Eventually, during Oden’s second year in the crew, they had a child and named him Momonosuke. He became a wanted pirate overseas, and when Whitebeard decided to divide his crew into divisions, Oden became the commander of the second division.
Back in Wano Country, Shogun Sukiyaki falls seriously ill and had to choose an heir. Since Oden was not present, he decided to name Kurozumi Orochi as his deputy. During the crew’s travels, Whitebeard creates five divisions and, to their dismay, appoints Oden as the commander of the second. The next morning, with the sun shining, they are recruited by Teach as a child orphan to join their crew. Seeing as this is Whitebeard’s weak spot, he lets the child aboard. Meanwhile, the Roger Pirates were informed of a new samurai from Wano working under Whitebeard. Roger decided he wanted to meet the samurai himself.
