Summary:

Luffy, Zoro and Kiku fend off the attacking Beasts pirates and their samurai allies. Luffy calls out to Holed’em, who approaches Luffy’s group and holds Tama hostage.

After defeating Yokozuna Urashima, Luffy demands to see the city boss Bakura to save Tama. The mob sees them as rebels and starts attacking them. Luffy and Zoro fight the crowd and Kiku also joins in armed with a katana. Luffy learns that Holed’ was the boss of the town, but he misheard his name as “Ball-de-boo.”

Meanwhile, children in the impoverished town of Okobore continue to face hunger. Tsuru needs to treat another child who drank polluted river water out of hunger. Some workers from this town work in Bakura town where there is plenty of food and clean water. One worker complains about low wages, but is beaten.

Back at Holed’em’s house, Holed’em is crushed by Urashima. Tama tries to run, but Holed’em’s lion grabs her leg. Holed’em picks up Urashima’s unconscious body and gets up, but a fire breaks out in his house. Luffy calls out to Holed’em, mistaking his name for “Ball-de-boo.”

Speed, another officer of the Beasts Pirates, appears at the city gate. Speed, who ate the horse’s SMILE fruit, is shocked to see the city destroyed and Holed’em’s house in flames.

Holed’em finally shows Luffy standing on the roof of the pagoda with Tama being held in his lion’s mouth. Strangely, he accuses Luffy of allying himself with a certain “Shutenmaru”. Luffy is shocked to see the lion buried in Holed’em’s stomach.

Hawkins approaches Bakura Town to help fight Luffy. The Law and the Heart Pirates spotted him. Meanwhile, Luffy prepares to fight Holed’.

The anime adds the following:
As Luffy begins to fight the Beasts Pirates and their samurai allies, he once again drops the scabbard of his sword and Zoro catches it.
Holed’em picked up Urashima and grabbed Tama.
The fight against Beasts Pirates and enemy samurai in Bakura Town is extended in the anime.
