Summary:
Although Luffy is excited to fight Kaida with the Ninja-Pirate-Nink-Samurai Alliance, he asks to save Sanji from Big Mom before the battle.
Meanwhile, Jack punishes Sheepshead for returning to him without Raiz, and his fleet returns to Zou to attack it again. However, rather than face the minks in battle again, Jack decides to attack the elephant Zunesha himself, shocking his crew.
On Zou, the Ninja-Pirate-Nink-Samurai alliance returns outside and Inuarashi and Nekomamushi regal the Straw Hats with stories of their and Oden’s travels with Whitebeard and later Roger. However, he and Roger did not reach the Laugh Tale, and Kin’emon declares that it was a crime for Oden to leave Wano Country to set sail. Nami then questions Crocus’s words in Log Pose as he stated that it will lead them to the final destination of the Laugh Tale. However, Inuarashi and Nekomamushi replied that instead of leading them directly to the laugh story, he would lead them to a place that would be integral to helping them reach the laugh story to the end. As the alliance talks again about their plans to fight Kaida, Nekomamushi expresses his intention to find Marco and the remaining Whitebeard Pirates as allies for the war.
Luffy expresses his excitement for the upcoming battle with Kaida, and the members of the newly formed Ninja-Pirate-Mink-Samurai alliance celebrate their formation once again. However, Luffy then presents a condition to their alliance when he asks to go save Sanji from Big Mom before the final war. Nekomamushi remembers Sanji, but Inuarashi doesn’t, as he was in a coma at the time, and Nekomamushi explains to him who Sanji was and how he left Zou. Luffy is warned of the dangers of the mission, but is confident as he does not plan to fight Big Mom and will be accompanied by Pekoms, whom he calls “Pekomamushi”, causing Nekomamushi to laugh and Inuarashi to be confused. Meanwhile, the Minks in Kurau City are rejoicing at the new found peace between Inuarashi and Nekomamushi, looking forward to their plans being less strict and planning to prepare a banquet.
Meanwhile, Jack’s fleet is sailing the sea, and Jack is sitting next to Sheepshead, who is badly wounded and hanging upside down. After chastising him for coming back to him without finding Raiz, Jack continues to berate Sheepshead, and Ginrummy silently hopes that Sheepshead won’t say anything about why they left, because Jack surely wouldn’t be happy to hear, that the Norse were not only still alive, but that its members had been driven off by another pirate crew. The fleet then approaches Zo as the Beasts Pirates prepare to finish off the minks and complete their mission, but Jack declares that he will not face the minks again. Instead, he attacks Zunesha, the giant elephant that carries Zou himself, and his crew members are stunned at the idea of attacking such a giant being.
Meanwhile, the Ninja-Pirate-Nink-Samurai alliance returns outside and Inuarashi mentions how he and Nekomamushi once sailed with the Roger Pirates. Luffy is stunned to hear this, and Inuarashi clarifies, saying that they accompanied Oden as his guides and had also sailed with the Whitebeard Pirates before. The Straw Hats are amazed to hear the history of the rulers, and Usopp hastily jots down their accounts in his notebook. Inuarashi and Nekomamushi happily reminisce about the adventure times they had, to the point where they were dancing together, which Usopp notes is quite a contrast from when they tried to kill each other a very short time ago. However, Nekomamushi reveals that he and Inuarashi did not go to the Story of Laughter, and Kin’emon states that he, Kanjuro, and Raizo did not accompany Oden because it was a crime to go beyond the land of Wano. Momonosuke says he was too young to remember much of his father’s journey, but the Straw Hats immediately called him since Roger’s journey was over two decades ago. Franky then asks Inuarashi and Nekomamushi if they remember Tom, and the two rulers do and are happy to hear about him.
As Brook is about to ask the rulers if they remember Crocus, Nami interjects and asks about the Log Pose, remembering how Crocus told them it would lead to their final destination on the Grand Line and wondering how dovetails with their new discovery of how road poneglyphs are needed to achieve the Laugh Tale. However, Inuarashi and Nekomamushi replied that Crocus’s statement was indeed accurate, as the Straw Hats would have to bring all the information they had gathered about the Laughter and True History to the final island, causing the final island to play an integral role in giving them will allow you to go beyond it and find the Laugh Tale. Nekomamushi fondly remembers Crocus and how he was going to search for a pirate crew once upon a time; Brook then reveals that he is from this crew and that the rest of his crew have died, shocking Nekomamushi. The alliance then reaches the bottom of the Whale Tree, and as Luffy plans to go and get Sanji back, Nekomamushi states that he also has allies he could recruit to battle Kaido: Marco and the remaining Whitebeard Parets.

When Luffy tells Inuarashi Pekomas’ nickname, Nekomamushi laughs at it.
After Jack reminds Sheepshead that he failed to find Raizo, Sheepshead apologizes.
Ginrummy shows surprise when Jack declares his intention to kill Zunesha.
When Jack and his men return to Zou, the episode only shows three ships. The manga showed more ships than that.
