Summary:
Luffy and Zoro begin to fight the dragon, who is able to speak and breathe fire. Luffy fires at the dragon’s back and discovers the presence of a pair of legs. Luffy manages to get the dragon to chew on his own wing, causing him to fall. Zoro takes the opportunity to jump into the air with Usopp’s trampoline and chop off the dragon’s head.
Meanwhile, Nami, Chopper, Franky, Brook, and Sanji fell asleep due to the sleeping gas and were kidnapped by men in hazmat suits except for Brook, who they thought was already dead.
Luffy, Zoro, Robin and Usopp now face the dragon who asks who they are. Luffy exclaims that the dragon just spoke, but Usopp says he can hear things as he runs away. As they are still preoccupied with the dragon, he unleashes a blast of fire that everyone narrowly dodges. Usopp is shaking with fear while Luffy and Zoro are excited to face the dragon. Luffy uses a jet gun, which doesn’t seem to have much effect on the dragon, and realizes that its cover is really hard. The dragon slams Luffy down hard with his tail. Zoro lunges towards the dragon, but is caught off guard when the dragon speaks again and stretches its head out to bite, which Zoro narrowly misses. Zoro uses a technique called ‘Ultra-Hunt’ which shakes the dragon a bit, but it quickly recovers and tries to bite Zoro again, which he manages to block, but states that the dragon is very durable and strong. An enraged Luffy then emerges from the wreckage and kicks the dragon, surprising and injuring it. Zoro tells Luffy that he heard it speak, while Robin and Usopp also witnessed it speak.
The dragon flies and uses another fire breath attack, asking if they are allies of “that” Shichibukai. The Straw Hats hide under rocks and walls, Usopp freaking out even more as Robin asks if he has a grudge against the Shichibukai. Luffy and Zoro make a “plan”, with Luffy jumping up to knock the dragon down. As he grabs onto the wall to blast himself off, Luffy realizes it’s hot, and while he’s in the air, the dragon tries to knock him down with another blast of fire. Luffy stumbles and rolls on the dragon’s body, exclaiming that it’s hot, and finds a pair of legs sticking out of the dragon. The dragon then tries to bite Luffy, but accidentally bites his wing, which Luffy pushes forward, causing him to yelp in pain and fall. Zoro then starts charging forward and yells at Usopp, who uses Trampolio to allow Zoro to jump up and uses a technique called Iai: Shi Shishi Sonson, cutting off the dragon’s head. As they fall, Luffy starts laughing and says that the dragon looks amazing. Zoro then says they could barbecue with the flames on the island while Robin uses her powers to catch them.
Back at the Thousand Sunny, Sanji finishes eating for Nami and calls her, only to find that everyone is asleep and some mist is flying around. Sanji, realizing that it’s not mist but actually gas, tries to contact Luffy by reaching for the Den Den Mushi, but puts him to sleep himself, having inhaled too much gas earlier. A group of strange individuals in hazmat suits with the letters PH appear and capture the crew, except for Brook. They mention the master to whom they are taking their captives.
