Summary:
The battle between the Straw Hats and the New Fish-Man Pirates rages on. Sanji and Zoro compete to shoot down the most fishermen. Franky decides it’s the perfect time to test out his new vehicles, with Usopp, Chopper, and Nami volunteering to be the pilots. Increasingly frustrated as he sees the fishermen being beaten by the humans, Hody orders his remaining men to attack Shirahoshi, but their attempts are thwarted by the efforts of Robin and Brook.
Franky then rides out of the Thousand Sunny on his latest weapon, the Kurosai FR-U IV, and tramples many fishermen with it. Usopp, Chopper, and Nami also arrive with another new weapon, the Brachio Tank V, and take down many large fishers. Angry at this string of defeats, Hody pulls out his trump card, Surume, and orders him to attack Luffy. However, Luffy tames Surume again and orders her to protect Shirahoshi. Luffy then rejoins the fight.
The fight has begun. Luffy lunges at enemies and punches them. Sanji and Zoro take it as a competition between themselves, wanting to see who can defeat the most number of enemies, confusing Jinbe. Fishman tries to attack Jinbe, but is stopped by Robin, who comments that Jinbe should just ignore them since it’s their normal behavior, and Nami says that they haven’t changed a bit. Franky hops on the Thousand Sunny and notes that everyone is warming up. Franky announces that it’s time for them, prompting Usopp and Chopper to excitedly ask about the new weapons. Franky asks them to follow him and Usopp and Chopper say they expected it as they run to the ship. Nami asks them to wait and Pappag hurriedly follows, not wanting to be left alone. Zoro and Sanji run side by side, knocking down their enemies as they fight. When the fisherman interrupts them, he is beaten by both Zoro and Sanji and flies towards Hoda. Fishman says they’re too strong, angering Hody, who says he doesn’t need soldiers afraid of stupid people and throws him away. Hody orders Shirahoshi killed.
In the Thousand Sunny, it is revealed that Franky has refurbished the functions by remaking Channel 0 of the Thousand Sunny Soldier Dock System to create 5 and 6. Chopper rushes Franky to show them the new weapons that are stored on Channel 4 and Franky pulls the shutter, revealing guns. Chopper and Usopp whine that it’s cool, while Nami and Pappag are speechless. Dosun orders the artillery unit to focus on Shirahoshi, but Brook notes that he doesn’t like it and jumps in front of Shirahoshi, playing his party music. His music causes the artillery unit to hallucinate and see an amusement park. They dance and when Brook tells them to set off fireworks, they use their guns to shoot into the sky. Dosun stares at them stunned and Brook has already cut them open with his Quinto Tierce Fantasia technique. Another group attacks Shirahoshi, but is intercepted by Robin, who calls them brutes for teaming up with a weak woman. Robin uses Mil Fleurs, Gigantesco Mano, and sends out two gigantic feet that start stomping on them. Usopp, Chopper, Nami and Pappag are crammed into a small space and Chopper asks Franky how much longer he has to wait. Franky pinches her nose, combs her hair, wears her glasses and says it’s done. Nami comments that she is excited.
Daruma orders the deadly poison unit to go forward and poison Robin’s legs. At this point, Franky calls out to them to hold it. Franky uses Channel 4’s Soldier Dock System and leaves the ship on a Kurosai FR-U IV. Luffy totally got it and calls it a cybike. Franky attacks the deadly poison unit and defeats them. Another fish man prepares for Franky with a spiked steel ball. The Soldier Dock system changes to channel 5 as the fisherman swings his gun and Franky grinds his teeth and sweats. Another vehicle with a cannon fires directly at the fisherman and Franky introduces it as Channel 5, Brachio Tank V. Chopper cries and says he is Commander Chopper. Chopper saw the enemies and told Usopp the direction and ordered them to fire while having fun. Luffy runs next to the vehicle and tells the commander that he is so cool. Zoro looks annoyed and tells Luffy to fight. The citizens realize that the straw pirates are strong and start cheering for them again.
Hody angrily calls out to the Kraken and tells him to crush them all. The citizens panic and run away from the huge tentacles of the Kraken. Kraken jumps onto the battlefield and tries to level Brook. Chopper gives the order to retreat and Nami and Usopp show their appreciation to the Kraken, surprising Pappag. Robin says that the presence of the Kraken is unexpected and Luffy acknowledges this and calls it Surume. Luffy recalls the events of Surume being his pet and friend for a short time. Luffy asks to ride him again as Surume stands up and seemingly crushes Luffy. However, as everyone watches, Luffy laughs as Surume picks him up and says that it tickles, shocking the New Fish-Man Pirates. Surume rides Luffy and obeys his order. Luffy tells Suruma to stay close to Shirahoshi and protect her. Jinbe is stunned and says he can’t believe Luffy knew the Kraken. Shirahoshi thanks Surume and she blushes. Luffy comments that there are still a lot of enemies and urges the others to go forward.
