While reading the newspaper, Nico Robin is relieved to see that Luffy is safe and grins. Meanwhile, Sanji meets Emporio Ivankov and asks him about Luffy. Due to Sanji’s inaccurate drawing of his reward, Ivankov refuses to believe that he is part of Luffy’s crew. Sanji reads the newspaper and is shocked. Dragon calls Ivankov and they discuss the commanders meeting and what Luffy did back at Marineford.

The episode begins with the Gate of Justice opening, with Luffy, Rayleigh, and Jinbe beating up all the marines on the battleship and forcing one of them to open the gates.

Meanwhile, Chopper is in the Kingdom of Turin preparing to return to the Sabaody Archipelago. The natives give him food and supplies. Chopper admits that he would rather stay and study medicine on the island, but he has to return to Luffy to help him. He walks, but then remembers that he has no transportation. A giant chick appears and tells him that his dad will give him a ride. Chopper is seen having fun on the back of a giant bird in the air. News Coo appears and hands Chopper the newspaper. While reading the newspaper, he is shown to be shocked by something.

Meanwhile, Robin rides with an entourage in the Tequila Wolf. He holds his portrait on his lap. Soran gave Robin a portrait. She thanked Soran, who asked if they would meet again. Robin agreed. Afterwards, the revolutionary told Robin that the Dragon wanted to see her. She disagreed and said she had to meet with her crew. Robin listens as one of the revolutionaries tells her about why the giant bridge was built. Several revolutionaries then give Robin the latest newspaper through a crow. She reads it and the content leaves a smile on her face.

Sanji is shown in the Kingdom of Kamabakka, trying to convince Caroline to give him the ship. Soon Ivankov appears as his female form, coming from the battleship. Sanji gets a few nosebleeds looking at ‘his’ body, but Ivankov turns back into a man and Sanji finally starts asking him about Luffy, telling him that he’s part of Luffy’s crew. Ivankov presents Sanji with several reward posters. After Ivankov shows a drawn picture of Sanji, Sanji angrily refuses to say it’s him. Ivankov gets angry and berates Sanji until Sanji backs down and admits that the poster he drew was his. After comparing the faces, Ivankov is not convinced that Sanji is one of the crew due to the poorly drawn wanted poster. After this skirmish, Sanji asks the ship to get out of the kingdom, which Ivankov refuses. Sanji told Ivankov that he would sail off the island, leading Ivankov to believe that he was part of Luffy’s crew. Sanji then offers to fight one on one. In the beginning, it goes full blast. Ivankov pretends to fight him, but ends up defeating him. After the fight, he decides to tell Sanji about Luffy because it won’t hurt Luffy as the whole world now knows about him. Sanji receives the newspaper and is shocked by the news in it.

In Baltigo, where Dragon’s headquarters is, Dragon talks to Ivankov through Den Den Mushi about the news and his son. He also says that he needs to gather all his commanders because Whitebeard’s death will cause quite a stir. Ivankov asks him if he read the paper and says that he is also surprised by what Luffy did in Marineford.
