Summary:

Zoro finally defeats Kaku with his new technique, Asura, meanwhile Luffy activates Gear 2 in his fight against Rob Lucci, who in turn transforms into his half-leopard form.

After many failed attempts, Zoro finally gets Kaku using his new technique, Asura, after Kaku starts insulting Robin. Shortly after, their fight comes to a head as both fighters use their ultimate techniques. The winner is Zoro. On the other side of the raging waters, on the Bridge of Hesitation, Spandam continues to drag Robin along. Fear hits her when the end of the bridge appears, marking the point of no return for her. He breaks free and runs away. Spandam chases and recaptures her, but she clings to the edge of the bridge with her teeth. Below them, Franky tries in vain to push past the much more powerful Rob Lucci. As Franky is on the verge of being killed, Luffy activates Gear 2 and attacks Lucci, allowing Franky to slip past.
Episode 300 is about the Lucci vs Luffy fight, which is the most memorable and best fight in the pre-Marineford War manga for readers. Combat is what Shonen was all about and this was the first solid combat in One Piece to rival Naruto or Bleach.

Episodes/Chapters Before Ennies Lobby, but after defeating Crocodile, this feels like a drop to most people who read/watched One Piece before the Gecko Moria arc.

Weaknesses (Optional): Limited Character Interaction: The episode often focuses on the Zoro vs. Kaku fight, offering minimum interaction among different characters. Focus on Single Battle: While the episode sets the level for other confrontations, it prioritizes showcasing Zoro’s combat, leaving the effects of other battles unresolved. Overall: One Piece Episode three hundred is a pivotal and motion-packed episode that grants a satisfying end to the Zoro vs. Kaku combat. The episode features stunning animation, person improvement for Zoro, and raises the stakes for the Straw Hats’ average task in Enies Lobby. While the episode focuses primarily on this unmarried war, it leaves visitors eager to peer the outcome of Luffy’s fight and the decision of the Enies Lobby arc.

This is mainly because at the time Sky Island felt like it had no relevance to the larger story. It was just an arc that no one else in the One Piece world knew about. Luffy and the Strawhats received credit for their actions in all the other pre- and post-Skypeia arcs. Plus, it felt pretty long and drawn out compared to most of the other arcs, and nothing new came out of it.

Currently, the Skypeia arc is joining the theories and is being appreciated more by newer readers as it seems somewhat relevant to today’s story.
Zoro ends up cutting Kaku.
Luffy uses Device 2 against Lucca.
