Summary:
As Ulti and Page One quickly recover from Luffy and Yamato’s attacks, Kaidou and the All-Stars join Orochi and the crucified Momonosuke on stage for Kaidou to announce his “New Onigashima Project” to the audience. Meanwhile, Luffy fights with Yamato for not wanting to meet him, but Yamato allows five minutes after they escape from the Beasts Pirates. Yamato reveals that he idolizes and styles himself after Kozuki Oden and wants to work with Luffy to achieve Oden’s dream of opening the borders of the land of Wano.
The first page tries to wake up Ulti and asks the other pirates nearby to get a doctor. He also curses Yamato for what he did and demands the others to turn them away and let him know where they end up. One of them questions Page One about the hit he took from Luffy, and he replies that Luffy almost dislocated his jaw, shocking them that he’s so irritated. Ulti wakes up and beats up the medics near her as she hugs Page One and says she’s hurt because of the medics. He calls her a psycho and tells her to relax, and she retorts that he should try saying that again to see what happens. Ulti also curses Yamato for using her father’s Raimei Hakke, saying that it was more like Raimei Yonke, though the First Page says it was able to hurt her. The first page is then informed that Luffy and Yamato have stopped moving, and he immediately heads in their direction, leaving Ulti behind, much to her annoyance. The nearby Beasts Pirates note that Zoan dinosaur users are insanely powerful.
At Yamato and Luffy’s place, the two began to fight. Yamato reminds Luffy that he won’t hurt him, but Luffy ignores him, saying that he’s in a hurry himself, so he can’t just drop everything and follow someone he doesn’t know. Yamato pleads for Luffy to listen to him and he says he has five seconds, but Yamato says he doesn’t want to talk to him with the others watching and Luffy tells him to forget it. The Beasts Pirates nearby cannot get close enough to capture Yamato as Yamato tells Luffy that their fight reminds him of another he had in the past. Luffy and Yamato clash again and a huge explosion occurs. By the time Page One arrives at the location, he is informed by his subordinates that they have lost sight of them.
At the Skull Dome, Orochi reveals to the Beasts Pirates how Momonosuke survived the destruction of Oden’s castle through time travel thanks to his mother Toki, but some of the Beasts Pirates are skeptical while others don’t believe it’s true, they still believe. the Kozuki clan was exterminated twenty years ago. One of them said this to the other two near him, unaware that they were actually Jinbe and Robin in Robin disguise, even trying to bring Momonosuke closer so she could ‘see’ him. Robin asks Jinbe what they should do since he can’t stand seeing Momonosuke in this position, but Jinbe says they can just wait for the Red Sheaths to make their move. The Pirate Beasts continue to laugh and scorn Momonosuke while Hyogoro and the other rebels wait patiently as their infiltration was successful.
Aboard the Polar Tang, Law manages to break through the surface with the rest of the Pods and, after opening the hatch, uses his Shambles to warp himself, Bep, Shachi, Penguin, and the Samurai to the island while the rest of his crew depart. back under Law notices the two entrances and says that the upper one leads to Kaido, just as they are surprised by Nekomamushi’s sudden drop beside them. Inuarashi sees Marco in the air as he goes to look at a strange shadow in the water. Everyone is then surprised to notice that Izou was with them, as Nekomamushi revealed that Marco told him where to find him, so he brought him along. Kikunojo cries tears of joy at being reunited with her brother, while Izou praises Kikunojo for becoming a great samurai.
At the fortress, Bao Huang reveals to Kaida that Big Mom is on her way. He decides to make his announcement along with Momonosuke’s execution and reveals to his subordinates that he will spice up the execution with the “New Onigashima Project” alongside his All-Stars. In the attic, Yamato and Luffy finally get a chance to talk, though Luffy gives him five minutes. Yamato explains that one day he went to his father and said he wanted to be Kozuki Oden, which resulted in him being beaten. Luffy asks what that has to do with him, and Yamato reveals that he witnessed the Legendary Hour and saw Oden as a magnificent samurai, as well as frustration, anger, and sadness at Orochi and Kaidou killing him, which Luffy seems to understand. Yamato then shows Luffy Oden’s journal, which he considers his bible, and how it contains all of his heroic stories and that neither Kaidou nor Orochi know exists. Yamato says that with the nine red sheaths dead, someone has to carry on Oden’s will, so Yamato intends to reopen the land. As Yamato says this, he removes his mask and rips off the sleeves of his clothing, revealing to a shocked Luffy that Yamato actually has a female body. Yamato then explains that he chose to be a man, just like Oden was. Yamato expresses his desire to fight alongside Luffy to open Wan’s borders and says that Luffy is similar to Ace, a statement that deeply shocks Luffy.
