Summary:

Bao Huang is spying on Yamato. Meanwhile, the Nine Red Sheaths inherit Oden’s dual sword style and chop up Kaidou in his honor.

As Queen continues to fire Excite Bullets into the crowd, King orders Bao Huang to find Kozuki Momonosuke. Momonosuke is in the corridors, still being chased by Shinobu. Although Momonosuke and Shinobu attempt to hide from them by hiding on the ceiling, the explosion causes them to fall and Yamato sees them. They run away from Yamato just as a black cat wearing a Bao Huang mask spots them. With this, Black Maria continues her song, hinting at a reunion. The song ends with Maria breaking the string of her shamisen.

The nine red pods work together to fight Kaida. Raizo and Denjiro punch Kaidou in the lower abdomen, Kin’emon climbs his body and stabs his head, and Inuarashi and Nekomamushi electrocute him. Still unharmed, Kaidou threw them to the ground before lighting them on fire. Yet, like Oden twenty years before, the samurai rise in flames. They remember when Oden offered to teach his charges the Oden Two Swords style, but they all refused. So, using their individual fighting styles, they each take turns attacking Kaidou, each managing to pierce his body.

Kaidou is still unharmed. So the Nine Red Scabbards decided to imitate Oden’s style of two swords in honor of Oden. Kaidou fires several fireballs at them, but they dodge them. Kin’emon counters with Kaidou’s Bolo Breath, then they all perform the move, “Togen Totsuka”, slashing Kaidou’s lower abdomen just like Oden did twenty years ago.
