Summary:
Brook and Robin free Sanji from Black Maria’s webs and go to help the Pochevs. Yamato, Shinobu, and Momonosuke are spotted by Mary in the warehouse and escape after fighting many of Kaidou’s officers. Carrot is defeated by Perosperus. The Worst Generation continues their fight against Kaido on the rooftop where Kaidou reveals his hybrid form.
Robin knocks out Black Maria and Brook frees Sanji by freezing and breaking the webs. While Robin confronts Black Maria, Sanji escapes. He follows a random path hoping to meet some of the allies.
Bao Huang announces Yamato’s whereabouts. Yamato finds and hits the mouse. Yamato explains that he is a cyborg known as Mary who serves as Kaidou’s tracking unit by broadcasting his findings to human Marys. Now that Yamato’s location has been revealed, the enemy beast pirates are closing in on the warehouse. With Momonosuke hiding in his robes, Yamato fights the pirates to escape.
Carrot becomes enraged after Wanda is defeated by Perospero. Charges Perospero, dissolving his candy and breaking through his armor. However, as the clouds block the moon, it loses its Sulong form. This allows Perospero to defeat her as well. After taunting Pedro and Carrot, he leaves to join the others in battle.
On the rooftop, Kaidou reveals his hybrid form to the worst generation. There is a minute left before Luffy can use Haki again, so he sleeps to rest. The assassin tries to cut Kaidou, but Kaidou’s body is now too heavy for him to cut. The assassin is knocked back by Kaidou’s club.
Since Black Maria was unavailable, after bandaging, Jack decides to go to the treasure vault to kill the samurai. Bao Huang reports that the Nine Red Sheaths’ injuries have been bandaged somehow. Now that Jack is taking care of the samurai, Black Maria now focuses on fighting Robin. She takes off her robe to reveal a tattoo that says “女難” (“Girl Trouble”).
The anime adds the following:
Yamato noticed and captured Mary the mouse.
Carrot fights Perospero before losing his Sulong form (due to the full moon being obscured by clouds).
Kaidou’s Human-Beast Form is fully shown earlier in the anime. In the manga, this was only revealed after Luffy recovered from Gear 4.
