Summary:
While the Nine Red Sheaths defeat Orochi, the members of the Worst Generation continue to fight the Emperors and successfully knock Big Mom off the roof.
Orochi and Fukurokuju continue to set fire to the castle and prepare to go to the explosive storage. The remaining nine red pods run through the corridors, fearing the fire when they run into Orochi. Fukurokuju offers to fight them, but Orochi insists on fighting them alone, transforming into his Yamato no Orochi form. Despite this, the Nine Red Scabbards decapitated Orochi and Kin’emon decapitated him. Orochi collapses.
Meanwhile, the Four Emperors continue to fight the Worst Generation on the roof, with Kaido fighting Luffy and Big Mom fighting the others. Still, Luffy tries to hurt Kaido and Big Mom wreaks havoc on the Worst Generation.
The Worst Generation tries a strategy to take down Big Mom by immobilizing her friends. Law traps Dio in a metal box created by Kid, Zoro dismembers Prometheus, and Killer distracts Napoleon by attacking him. When all her friends can’t help her, Law and Zoro push Big Mom over the edge of the island and she begins to fall into the sea.
The anime adds the following:
An extension of the moves Kaidou and Big Mom use to defend against supernovas.
Law uses Curtain to defend against Big Mom’s attacks.
Big Mom is shown to have her back turned when the Kid used his Punk Pistol technique while she was distracted by her cronies dealing with her.
Zoro coughs up blood after completing the attack to help separate Big Mom from Kaidou.
The anime expands on the following:
A killer attack to keep Napoleon away from Big Mom.
After Kid uses Repel on Big Mom to send Onigashi out, she briefly touches the ground with her feet to stop herself from falling, but Zoro cuts her to ensure she falls successfully.
Unlike the manga, the anime makes no mention of Orochi learning that Denjiro is Kyoshiro’s true identity.
