Summary:

Crocodile joins Nico Robin in the tomb and orders her to translate the Poneglyph. Robin tells him that Pluto was not mentioned and that it was just history. However, the crocodile accuses her of lying and stabs her in response. As Luffy recovers from the last round of fighting, he chases Crocodile into the tomb.

Luffy’s body water was drained by the Crocodile, making Luffy close to death. However, the water he shot at the Crocodile fell and landed on him, bringing him back to life. After Luffy recovered, he set out to find the Crocodile. Nico Robin and King Cobra encountered marines en route to the royal tomb and were ordered to surrender, however she easily overpowered them. Sometime after that the Crocodile came up to them and laughed at them that they were easy to overcome.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Straw Hat crew, Vivi and Pell are still searching for the hidden cannon and time is quickly counting down. While chasing the Crocodile, Luffy came to Tashigi and asked which way the Crocodile went. After thinking for a moment, she showed Luffy where the Crocodile was going and cursed as he took off. As Luffy approached the tomb, he began to bleed and fell to the ground in his sleep. Meanwhile, with Cobra’s help, Nico Robin found the Poneglyph and began to read it. The crocodile also reached the location of the Poneglyph at this point. The Straw Hats are still looking for the bomb.

After meeting the Poneglyph, Nico Robin read and asked Cobra if there were any other Poneglyphs in the country, and Cobra asked if the one they found failed her. Crocodile finds them and tells Nico Robin to read what is written on the Poneglyph. But she began to read, she simply read him the history of Arabasta. When Crocodile heard this, he became very upset and asked if the Poneglyph had revealed the location of the ancient weapon – Pluton. Nico Robin answered him that the name Pluton is not mentioned in this Poneglyph. The crocodile then told her that the four years they had been running baroque works together had been useful. However, she will have to die because she broke her promise not to give him the location of Pluto after reading the Poneglyph. Nico Robin tried to kill him but failed. At that moment, Cobra started a timer that would destroy the underground tomb, stating that both Crocodile and Nico Robin would die with him, as he would never allow Crocodile to have the “Land of Sand”.

While searching for the bomb, Vivi ends up with a scraped knee when one of her platform sandal straps falls apart from all the rough running separating it, and she throws herself onto the hard rocky path. Falling on her second sandal, she is forced to abandon the ruined pair and continue running barefoot, making her search all the more painful as her unprotected feet are battered as she trudges through the rough streets of Alubarna. She got a revelation of the possible location of the bomb and had Usopp summon the rest of the Straw Hats as they crossed the streets. Luffy finally woke up from his sleep and ran to find the Crocodile. Crocodile informs Cobra that his plan to bury the three of them together is futile as he is able to turn the bedrock of the tomb into sand and escape.
