Summary:
Luffy returns and fights evenly with Zoro. Meanwhile, the seahorse spreads illusions of the people in their memories to distract them. He steals their complete memories and claims to have become Sennenryu. Luffy defeats it and returns all the memories, but the townspeople are convinced that they are the memory thieves.
The villagers are celebrating as their memories have returned. A cloaked boy who fled the battle is reunited with his mother. He tells the villagers that the memory thief was in the forest. In the forest, Zoro approaches the Straw Hats, ready to fight them. Sanji fights Zoro, but Luffy lunges forward and hits Zoro and Sanji.
When he wakes up, Zoro reveals that he got his memory back when the seahorse coughed out his memory. Sanji was annoyed that Zoro still looked scary after getting his memory back. Zoro then jumps into the lake to chase the seahorse. After Zoro catches him, the seahorse uses his last resort: he sprays a gas into the air that causes the Straw Hats to hallucinate people from their past memories (Bell-Mere, Hiriluk, Kaya, Kuina, Zeff, Ace, and Shanks). their former enemies (Arlong, Wapol, Kuro, Krieg, Crocodile and Enel). The seahorse then steals the Straw Hats’ memories, causing them to inflate and be able to float; becomes Sennenryu.
Luffy launches himself into the air and wraps around the seahorse. In pain, the seahorse releases Luffy’s memories. Having regained his memories a second time, Luffy defeats the seahorse, releasing all remaining memories and flying into the air.
The Straw Hats then ask the villagers for a reward for defeating the seahorse and returning their memories. However, the villagers, mistaking them for memory thieves, attack the Straw Hats. The Straw Hats were forced to flee empty-handed to Waver.
At sea, Sanji prepares dinner. Luffy explains that the reason Luffy didn’t show up at the same time as Zoro was because he was stuck under a boulder.
