Summary:
The Straw Hats enter while Yokozuna and the Franky Family stay at the door to protect their backs. The Three-Headed Judge tries to stop them, but the Franky Family hold him back. Elsewhere, Luffy’s Gear 2 is put into action and eventually defeats Bluen.
The three-headed judge reports to Spandam and informs him that the pirates have now entered the courthouse. The three-headed judge informs the pirates that they have entered the site of the “sacred judgment” and will begin the trial. Zambai and the Franky Family tell Zoro and Nami to head to the roof where Luffy is already fighting while Yokozuna and they prevent any of the marines from surrounding them. The Marines and World Government personnel notice that the pirates are completely ignoring the process, and one of them raises a rifle and points it at Zoro, who uses his Enbima Yonezu Oni Giri attack to clear a path to the stairs as they run towards them. .
Sanji, who was still outside fighting the marines, ran past Zambai yelling at Chopper and Zoro to get out of his way (calling them a “reindeer and an idiot swordsman”) as he would be the one to clear his way. Nami as she jumps and kicks Zoro who immediately asks Sanji if he wants to fight. The Franky family is confused by this and can’t believe that they are fighting their fellow crew members in this situation. Sanji tells Nami to follow him and only him as he runs up the stairs ahead of everyone, to which Nami reminds Sanji that they are there to save Robin. Sanji then remembers this point, only to exclaim how lonely she must be already, crying as she waits for him to save her. Just at this time, Chopper notices that Zoro was going the wrong way and didn’t go up the stairs, wondering how Zoro could have gone the wrong way when he gave him directions and was standing right there. Chopper says he’s going to make Zoro a cure for being “clueless”, to which Nami asks if he could also make some for Sanji, who is seen running fast enough to kick up a cloud of dust several levels up .
When Chopper stops at the top of the stairs to tell Zoro the way (much to his chagrin), the Three-Headed Judge jumps down from the bottom, angry at being ignored. Zoro blocks the initial attack as the judge grabs onto the ledge. Just as Zoro prepares to fight the judge, Franky’s family grabs the judge by the legs and pulls him back down to their level, telling the Straw Hats that they will take care of him.
The scene shifts back to the roof of the courthouse where Luffy has just released Gear 2 for the first time in his fight against Bluen. Luffy tells Bluen that he’s glad he met them because now he’ll be able to protect his friends as he goes through increasingly powerful opponents. Blueno is confused because the loss of Robin is directly related to the encounter with CP9.
Luffy then raises his hand as if pointing at Bluen and starts saying “Gomu Gomu no…”. Blueno asks if he’s aiming for him and says it will give him more time to avoid Luffy’s attack. He tells Luffy to try to hit him and immediately uses Sora. Almost immediately, using a previously invisible attack, Luffy yells “Jet Pistol”, sending Bluen flying and crashing into the wall behind him. Blueno quickly stood up, unsure of what had just happened, he looked back to where Luffy was standing only to find that he was no longer there. Off camera, another jet gun hits him directly in the right side of the face (Luffy doesn’t say the name of the attack this time) and he flies off in the opposite direction. Luffy is then seen moving towards Bluen, so fast that he seems to disappear, and transitions into a jet rifle that sends Bluen flying again. He moves and attacks so quickly that Luffy gives up “Gomu Gomu no Jet” before summoning each subsequent attack: a shortcut he had only used once before when fighting Arlong: and then only for a two-hit combo. While Blueno is still in the air, Luffy appears directly above him and punches Blueno into the roof, before immediately spinning through the air and landing back on his feet a few meters away. Blueno sits up and looks towards where Luffy landed, but there is only a puff of steam. Blueno frantically looks around, thinking to himself how he can’t see Luffy at all, and is then hit by another shot from Luffy, sending him flying again. Luffy jumps to the top of the flagpole and unleashes a rapid flurry of attacks on Bluen, hitting him with Gomu Gomu no Jet Stomp, Jet Spear, and Jet Missile (grabbing onto Bluen’s horns) before he even has a chance to react. .
Blueno dropped to one knee as he looked around, barely seeing Luffy move as he took another hit. That’s when he realizes that Luffy has mastered Soru’s Rokushiki technique. Blueno uses his Doa Doa no Mi abilities to create a door in the air and jump through it to an alternate dimension. He ponders how Luffy could have learned and mastered the Rokushiki technique and ultimately decides that Luffy’s skills are no match for a true Rokushiki user. Blueno opens the Air Door again and jumps at Luffy who easily dodges the attack. Luffy explains that he’s glad he learned something like Soru’s possible (by kicking the ground ten times in an instant; his exact description confirms Bluen’s suspicions that he’s mastered the technique) and that he won’t lose any more friends now because not strong enough. Luffy throws his arms back as Blueno says to put it on and that he will stop Luffy’s attack with his strongest Tekkai, “Go” (Strong). Luffy then hits him with the full force of the Jet Bazooka, causing Blueno to slide back onto his heels with a huge dent in his chest, but remains standing. Luffy comes out of Gear 2 and tells Bluen that he’s a really tough guy, but that he wants to show him something even more interesting. As Luffy raised his hand to his mouth to launch another attack, he noticed that Blueno wasn’t moving. Blueno then falls to the ground, ending the fight.
Exhausted after the fight, Luffy talks to himself about how his body still can’t quite handle Gear 2. But his body is the least of his worries right now; must still progress.
Meanwhile, the rest of the crew and the Franky Family are still fighting between the Marines and World Government operatives. Sogeking is shown still on Kashii and Oimo with the rest of the Galley-La Company. The Marines can’t believe that Yokozuna is preventing them from entering the courthouse, while Kiwi and Mozu are shown still climbing the towers and trying to lower the drawbridge. Spandam tells the workers to gather all the members of CP9 as the episode ends with Luffy shouting Robin’s name.
