Summary:
Robin continues to talk to Saul, who is shocked to learn that Robin is Nico’s daughter Olvia and that she is on Ohara. Olvia returns to Ohara to warn the other scholars that World Government forces are headed there. She decides that Robin won’t reveal herself, she doesn’t want her daughter to be branded a criminal because of her. CP9 arrives on the island, captures Olvia and gathers the scholars.
A woman walks through the streets of Ohara and listens to rumors that a naval ship has appeared at its docks. Scientists from the Tree of Knowledge are informed of this.
Meanwhile, Robin continues to talk to Saul about her hopes of meeting her mother, becoming an archaeologist, and studying the Void Century, a century in history that is forbidden to be studied by the world government. She tells Saul that her mother studied the Poneglyphs. Saul is shocked to hear that Robin is the daughter of Nico Olvia, an archaeologist who left the island to study the Poneglyphs.
Saul warns Robin that the marines were there to eliminate the island’s scholars. Meanwhile, the woman from earlier arrives at the Tree of Knowledge and is revealed to be Olvia, explaining that she arrived on a naval ship. She tells the scholars that a group of people who left the island to search for the Poneglyphs were killed by the World Government, leaving her the only survivor. He warns that the World Government plans to wipe out all Ohara Scholars. He tells them to evacuate the island immediately, but the scholars refuse to leave because fleeing the island would mean abandoning the priceless recorded history.
Olvia decides to cut ties with Robin to prevent Robin from being known as the daughter of a criminal. He takes the gun and leaves. Meanwhile, a World Government ship arrives at Ohara and attacks the Tree of Knowledge, targeting all the scholars who were trying to study the Poneglyphs. Those who were not archaeologists were ordered to evacuate the island.
Spandine, who was also on the island, shot Olvio in the sleeve. Spandine explains that he intended to attack Oharu to warn the academic community to refrain from studying the Void Century. Olvia is knocked down. Meanwhile, World Government agents attack the Tree of Knowledge and round up the scholars, including Robin. Spandine arrives and one of his henchmen carries the unconscious Olvia away.
Clover distracts Spandina to allow Robin to escape. Meanwhile, Saul is walking around the island looking for Robin.
