Summary:

This episode shows where Robin and Usopp are after Kuma sent them away. Robin is found unconscious in the snow by Soran and is hidden from her island’s officers, Tequila Wolf. Robin soon discovers that Tequila Wolf is nothing more than a huge bridge that has been under construction for over 700 years and all the inhabitants are laborers working as slaves. Usopp yells if anyone is on the island, which attracts a large bug to chase after him. Usopp is then saved from the bug by a man named Heracles. Heracles soon informs Usopp that he is on an island inhabited by people who eat plants.

On Momonga’s ship, Hancock brings Luffy some food while the two marines comment on their numerous crewmates who have been turned to stone, wondering if they can actually Impel Down. Hancock questions Luffy about his crew and panics when she hears about Nami and Robin, imagining that Luffy left her for them.

Elsewhere, Soran finds Robin in the snow and invites her to his home, avoiding officers who whip fellow citizens off the ground along the way. When they arrive, Soran’s roommates want Robin to leave, but eventually all but one agree to let her stay in Soran’s room (the building’s floor). Soran gives Robin some food and notes that she smells weird because she’s been spending time in the outside world since Soran never left the island. Soran hears the alarm and is told that she has to get back to work because the people in the country work all day and night, and Robin agrees to tell her about his travels when he gets back.

After some time, Soran comes back dirty and Robin asks what kind of work he has to do. Soran explains that in the land of Tequila Wolf, there is a bridge that all the citizens are building to connect the many islands together, which has been building for centuries. Soran shows Robin some pictures of imaginary places she’s drawn and explains that drawing makes her feel like she can travel the world. Robin notices a drawing of Sky Island and describes his journey to Skypiea. Although the officers force people to work until they collapse from exhaustion, Soran explains that she is comforted that the bridge will allow more people to travel the world, and that she also dreams of traveling the world. The rest of Soran’s house notices the conversation and asks if they can listen in as well, but the woman who didn’t want to keep Robin tells the officers about her in exchange for being allowed to leave the country.

Soran’s group hides Robin on the roof when the captain enters and interrogates them, destroying Soran’s pictures in an attempt to get her to talk. When that doesn’t work, he decides to torture them instead, specifying that he will show Soran no mercy. Outside, Robin attacks the officers with the clutch, but ends up giving herself up. With Robin on hand, the officers explain that the Tequila Wolf is made up of criminals and citizens of countries that refuse to ally with the World Government and are forced to work as slaves, and that they have been building the bridge for over 700 years. Robin is then told that she is now one of the slaves.

On an island in the Boin Archipelago, Usopp explores the jungle and is attacked by a giant bug. He is rescued by Heracles, who kills and eats him before introducing himself to Usopp. Usopp tries to eat one of the island’s fruits, but a plant-eating man sneaks up and attacks him. Usopp swarms with several plants that Herakles easily repels. Heracles tells Usopp that he is on the “Swindling Forrest” Greenstone.
