Summary:
Jinbe, Crocodile, and Daz Bonez finally secured a naval vessel with which to escape. Meanwhile, Luffy continues his fight against Magellan with the help of Galdin’s Doru Doru no Mi powers. Although the pair initially believe they can defeat the Guardians with their combined powers, Magellan – seeing the situation getting desperate – unleashes his ultimate technique, the Venom Demon: Jigoku no Shinpan, which is so toxic that it can even poison Mr. 3 Wax . With Luffy’s wax armor rendered useless, the remaining escapees flee towards the entrance with Magellan right behind them. It was then that Ivankov, who was able to partially heal himself with Horu Horu no Mi, broke through the ground with Inazuma while using Hell Wink. By holding on to Ivankov’s enlarged head while he uses another Hell Wink, Luffy and the others are finally able to break out of Impel Down and be carried to a captured naval ship by a school of whale sharks summoned by Jinbe, seconds before caught Magellan. who stares in disbelief.
Back on level 3, Ivankov lies seemingly dead from the poison, but his fingers are twitching and clawing. On a naval ship, Crocodile and Daz Bonez stand in front of some marines, thinking they don’t know their limits. The captain orders them to be thrown overboard, but then a whirlpool forms in the water. And Jinbe comes out using Spear Wave to blow up part of the ship and hit a few marines. Crocodile advises his ally to track their target as they want to use the ship to escape Impel Down.
Meanwhile, Luffy continues his fight with Magellan using the Gum-Gum Champion Gatling, which easily cuts through the Hydra and has the advantage over the Warden. When Magellan was knocked back, he fell to his knees in a rage. The prisoners again fire more bullets at the guards without effect. Magellan says he ordered the ships to disperse, leaving no escape route, but Luffy insists that Jinbe get a ship to escape on. Determined to end things once and for all, Magellan covers himself with red poison. Luffy tries the Gum-Gum Champion Stamp, but the attack has no effect as the wax easily wilts, forcing Galdin to de-wax Luffy. Magellan uses his new poison to melt through the poison walls and calls his new form Venom Demon, releasing a huge ball of poison with skulls around it. Magellan hits some of the prisoners with a poisonous demon using Hell’s Judgment, poisoning some of the prisoners who are left to die. The poisonous stain then continues its pursuit. Galdino fears that the poison will melt into the stone like acid.
Somewhere on Level 1, Bentham is cheering on Luffy while staring at some prisoners complaining about the fog. If the marines hold off the pirates long enough, there is no hope of escape. Magellan could arrive at any moment. Bentham begs Jinbe to hurry. Under the water, Jinbe spots several boats. On one ship, Crocodile uses his sand powers to defeat some marines and drain some of their oxygen. Daz Bonez uses his dice powers to fight some Marines who know him from West Blue. Because the Crocodile’s Sables tornado has blown more marines off the ship, the naval officer wants to sink the ship with cannon fire. Suddenly, Jinbe’s Fish-Man Karate attacks the marines to keep them busy. Luffy’s party continues to escape and the Venom Demon approaches. Luffy then calls out to all the prisoners and orders them to escape.
With no ship in sight, it’s impossible to tell what’s going on. Carrying the poisoned Inazuma, Ivankov feels exhausted to take the next step. He soon fires a Hell Wink to level 1, shocking both the prisoner and Magellan. Bentham cries with joy that both Ivankov and Inazuma are alive and well, while Galdino hands Luffy a Den den Mushi to call Jinbe. With almost nowhere left to hide, Luffy is told to jump into the water. Galdino knows that the Devil Fruit prisoners will die if they jump into the water. Magellan believes that the Sea Kings will eat the prisoners in the water. Luffy goes into third gear with Galdin, who builds Candle a wall.
As the situation worsened, Luffy uses the Gum-Gum Giant Stamp to blast Magellan away before shrinking back to normal size. Still, Venom Demon chases him while Luffy tries to wake up Ivankov. The “Queen” gets up and thinks the shriveled Luffy is a baby. Just when all hope is gone, Luffy orders the prisoners to grab Ivankov’s head, who fires a Hell Wink and blows the prisoners out. Magellan looks on in shock. Later, a school of sharks appears under some navy ships. Luffy then sees that his group landed on something soft. A school of whale sharks swim by and the warden of Impel Down looks confused as the prisoners land on the school.
