Summary:
In Gyoncorde Plaza, the battle between the New Fish-Man Pirates and the Straw Hat Pirates continues, with the Straw Hats gaining the upper hand. Seeing this, Daruma decided to join the fight, targeting the Brachio Tank V and collapsing under it. After Franky also drove the Kurosai FR-U IV into the same abyss, he decided to reveal that he could “dock” both new vehicles onto his body, transforming him into General Franky, much to the delight of Usopp, Chopper, and Luffy.
It is revealed that Hody is forcing Surume to follow his orders by threatening to kill her brother at the North Pole if she does not do as he says and orders Surume to crush Shirahoshi. Surume initially obeys before Luffy instead offers to save his brother and heads to Hody to fight him. Ikaros Much and Dosun attempt to capture Luffy, but are blocked by Zoro and Sanji, allowing Luffy to land a blow on Hody. Meanwhile, a giant Noah ship appeared on the entire island, shocking the citizens and King Neptune the most because it is in direct conflict with Fish-Man Island.
Daruma begins to dig himself underground. Hyouzou is disoriented and Zeo reminds him that he is in Gyoncorde Plaza. Hyouzou notices Zoro and Brook and notes that the Straw Hat Pirates have good swordsmen before moving in, killing their own subordinates in the process. The enemies run away at the sight of the Brachio Tank V and Chopper says they should use this opportunity to attack their officers. Daruma appears right in front of them and Chopper orders Usopp to shoot. As Usopp prepares to fire, Daruma jumps to the ground and disappears. They stay at it for a while as Nami looks on bored. The vehicle rattles and tilts before crashing into the ground, with Chopper realizing it’s a sinkhole. Daruma tells them that it’s his special attack, the Daruma Drop, because he dug a network of tunnels underground using only his fangs. Franky sees their predicament and rushes over to them. As Daruma prepares to create another sinkhole to trap Franky, Franky races past him on the Kurosai FR-U IV, realizing too late that Chopper and Usopp have fallen into the sinkhole.
Franky kicks them out, but Nami and Chopper are outraged by his action. Franky explains that the machine will change to a single seater. Both vehicles undergo a transformation and Franky docks with them and becomes General Franky. Usopp, Chopper and Luffy marvel at his new look while Nami just stares at him. Franky will perform some of his new moves and defeat many enemies. Someone sneaks up behind Nami, calling her weak and shooting down his sword, but Nami successfully blocks it with her Sorcery Clima-Tact weapon and uses Gust Sword to knock her opponent back. Since Usopp is now on the battlefield, he has to fight, but he says he’s not afraid because he’s changed and uses the Pop Green, Bamboo Javelin on his enemies.
Daruma digs holes all over the square, but he senses that someone else is digging there. Daruma is thrown out of the ground and the culprit is revealed to be Chopper in his Horn Point. Luffy is amazed that Chopper can now transform into a horned, and Chopper corrects him, stating that he has strengthened his transformation and now only needs the Rumble Ball for one transformation.
Hody calls out to the kraken and praises him for gaining the straw pirates’ trust so easily, and orders him to squeeze Shirahoshi to death. Hody reminds the kraken that he knows his brother’s location at the North Pole and can travel there to easily kill him. Surume starts to squeeze Shirahoshi but Luffy says he understands how it feels and tells him to let Luffy save his brother as well since they are friends. As Luffy walks towards Hody, Dosun and Ikaros tell the others that they are no match for Luffy and to take care of him. As Dosun and Ikaros move to engage Luffy, Zoro and Sanji intervene, saying that they will not allow them to hinder Luffy. As the other fishmen lunge at Luffy, he uses Gear 2 and disappears, managing to get around the fishmen and kick Hody, saying that he is full of fight.
While cheering them on, the citizens notice something approaching them. Neptune is shocked to see it and identifies it as the Ark of the Promise, Noah.
