Summary:

As the straw pirates sail towards Little Garden, Baroque Races officer agent Mr. 3 and his partner Miss Goldenweek receive new orders. When the Straw Hats finally get there, they discover that the island is inhabited by prehistoric animals. Frightened, Nami and Usopp stay on the ship while the others spread out to find food and adventure on the island. Nami remembers reading about the island in a book, but before she can remember, a giant approaches through the forest.

Luffy asks if it will snow again and Zoro says that it is not possible. Luffy tells Zoro that it’s snowing but he didn’t notice last time because he was asleep. Luffy asks Vivi if she thinks it’s going to snow, and she replies that the first sea they were in was weird because the magnetic forces messed everything up. He also warns the crew never to underestimate the Grand Line seas as a firm rule. Vivi gets annoyed with how everyone acts and doesn’t take anything seriously. Sanji comes out of the kitchen and prepared 9 drinks for the crew. Karoo Nami assures her that when things get rough, they know how to handle it. Vivi realizes she’s right when a colossal dolphin attacks them, so everyone rushes to their posts to outrun the gigantic threat. Afterwards, the crew sees the mysterious Little Garden Island shrouded in fog, and everyone is excited to encounter their second island on their way to the Grand Line.

The scene cuts to Mr. 3 and Miss Goldenweek, who are seen on Kyuka Island. While Mr. 3 prepares Earl Gray tea, they discuss Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine’s fall. Mr. 3 talks to Miss Goldenweek about how Mr. 5 is just an “idiot with devil fruit powers” who was overconfident in his position. He then declares that whoever defeated Mr. 5 will teach terror to make an enemy of the criminal organization.

Returning to the crew, they remember what the missus said all Sunday about the island, stating that they would all be dead by the time they reached Arabasta. The crew is restless as they see more of the island, but due to a lack of food and materials they continue on. As they enter the island, Sanji is attacked by a gigantic bird, signaling that this island is anything but normal. To confirm this idea, a huge tiger prowls next to the boat and then curls up with blood.

Luffy demands that they visit the island and Vivi goes with him because she doesn’t want to dwell on her problems. So Luffy, Vivi and Karoo leave after Sanji prepares a pirate lunch for the three of them. Zoro decides to go for a walk and Sanji asks him to find some edible looking animals to bring back. Zoro makes a smart remark and challenges Sanji to see if he could get a bigger animal than him. Enraged by this, Sanji boards the island to gain more kilos than Zoro, and Zoro responds by making them compete for tons.

Frightened by the noises, Nami realizes she remembers something about Little Island in the book and starts looking for it. Luffy and Vivi find a crustacean that looks like an octopus, just as the sound of giant footsteps is heard from behind. In the present, Sanji is nearly eaten by a T. rex. Zoro comes across a Triceratops and wonders if it is edible. Luffy and Vivi also find a dinosaur, but this one is a Brachiosaurus. Vivi then realizes what is happening on the island and states that with the Grand Line being so dangerous, nothing could have moved off the island to preserve Little Garden’s unique ecosystem.

Nami tells Usopp about what inhabits the island, just as a giant mysterious figure is seen in the jungle.
