Summary:

Corazon force-feeds Law the Ope Ope no Mi and has him deliver an important message to the Marines, but Law accidentally passes it on to Verg, who brutally beats him and Rosinante before informing Donquijote Doflamingo of Rosinante’s betrayal. The Donquixote pirates arrive at Minion Island and Doflamingo traps the remaining pirates in his birdcage as Rosinante decides that Law will survive and remembers his smile.

Vice Admiral Tsuru walks down the bridge of his ship and looks at Swallow Island where the Donquijote Pirates and Donquijote Rosinante are supposed to meet before telling his subordinates not to fail as they are dealing with Donquijote Doflamingo. As Tsuru wonders where Sengoku got the information to deploy like this, one of her subordinates informs her that they have been contacted by their scout ship located on Minion Island. On the island, one of the marines from the ship reveals to Tsuru that Diez Barrels hideout is on fire and that they are currently investigating what happened. However, Tsuru reprimands them for risking capture before ordering them to inform her of any suspicious people they find in the coastal area.

Elsewhere, several members of the Barrels Pirates lie defeated around a blanket of bloody snow as Rosinante walks off, carrying Trafalgar D. Water Law in her arms.

At the Barrels Pirates hideout, the remaining pirates are trying to put out the fire when X Drake breaks through a window before escaping. Inside the burning building, one of Barrels’ subordinates tries to help him, but Barrels brushes him off and tells the others not to worry about his injuries before ordering them to retrieve Ope Ope no Mi, as the Beli 5,000,000,000 deal is at stake.

At the foot of the mountain, Law opens his eyes to see Rosinante kneeling before him. After using Silent Rosinante, he shows Law The Ope Ope no Mi as Law notes that he was worried about Rosinante because he saw the building on fire and heard some gunshots. However, Rosinante scolds him for not being important compared to Ope Ope no Mi, which allows Law to save his life. When Law claims that Rosinante does not know if the fruit will cure his illness, Rosinante states that it will before forcing Law to eat it. After swallowing the whole fruit, Law looks at his hands and tells Rosinante that he wasn’t ready for that, only for Rosinante to collapse in front of him. As Rosinante says that he’s glad that Law can heal and that they outsmarted Doflamingo, blood starts pouring from his head while Law wonders if he’s just tired. Seeing a pool of blood spreading from Rosinante, a shocked Law flips him over to find that he has been wounded multiple times.

When asked if he was shot, Rosinante admits that he made a small mistake, prompting Law to want to know what he’s doing before trying to heal him with his newly acquired powers. However, nothing happens, which makes Rosinante laugh, noting that the Devil Fruit’s powers don’t work like magic. Rosinante assures Law that he wasn’t shot because of him, stating that these injuries won’t kill him and that he will try to stop the bleeding, before reminding Law that getting the Ope Ope no Mi won’t stop Doflamingo in the wild. Rosinante apologizes for using Law while he is weakened before asking him to deliver a small capsule to a naval observation ship stationed on the island. Rosinante explains how all the marines will recognize the capsule and reveals that its contents will save a distant kingdom known as Dressrosa. When Law starts to say that he hates the Marines, Rosinante grabs his arm and reminds him that he’s the son of a doctor before declaring that from now on he’ll be able to save more than just sick people. After Rosinante tells him that he will leave this island once he delivers it, Law agrees to deliver the capsule, which makes Rosinante smile before promising that the two of them will travel the world.

Soon after, Law is trudging through the snow before hiding behind a wall when he sees some Marines walking by. As his legs shake, Law sees Vergo walking alone and approaches him before asking him to take the capsule. Upon seeing the capsule, Vergo realizes that it must be a secret letter that someone asked Law to deliver before he promised to keep it. As Vergo notes that Law sounds very weak, Law asks him if he can be trusted before revealing that he needs him to help someone who was shot and should not have died at any cost. Soon after, Vergo carries Law to Rosinante, which Law tells Vergo to give him first aid. However, upon seeing Vergo, Rosinante blurts out his name, prompting Vergo to ask him why he is here before realizing that he has just spoken. As Rosinante realizes what Vergo’s secret mission must be, Vergo lets Law fall off his back when Law remembers what Rosinante told him about Vergo six months ago.

When Vergo opens the capsule to look at the letter inside, Rosinante realizes that his secret mission must have involved infiltrating the Marines. Seeing Rosinante crawling towards him, Vergo says he understands before kicking Rosinante through the wall behind him, prompting a shocked Law to call out to him before jumping on top of Vergo and punching him weakly. When Law identifies him as the Vergo that Rosinante told him about, Vergo grabs him by the neck and lifts him into the air before deducing that Law is a boy from Flevance and stating that he heard that the two were lost. Vergo chastises Law for not referring to him as Vergo-san and dismisses him before tearing up Rosinante’s letter while admitting that the Donquijote pirates would be doomed if the Marines got hold of this information. Vergo removes his cloak and asks Rosinante if Law is more important to him than his fellow pirates before kicking him in the chest.

After removing his shirt and scarf, Vergo covered his entire body in Busoshoku Haki before punching Rosinante in the stomach, noting that Rosinante was already suspected of disappearing at the age of 8 and returning to the Donquijote Pirates 14 years later, before stating that Doflamingo only trusted him because they were brothers. Vergo continues to brutally beat Rosinante while Law begs him to stop. Hearing this, Vergo stops hitting Rosinante and walks over to Law before punching him as well. Soon after, Law and Rosinante lie badly beaten on the ground as Vergo informs Doflamingo that they are still breathing. When asked what she knows, Vergo reveals that Rosinante was a Marine spy and planned to frame Doflamingo. As some of the Barrels Pirates approach the Donquixote Pirates’ ship, Doflamingo explains how he observed Swallow Island and saw two warships approaching, which convinced him of Rosinante’s treachery. While the other Donquixote Pirates defeated the Barrels Pirates, Doflamingo cl
