Summary:
Luffy easily overpowers Bill in battle and sends him into an underground mine. However, Bill eats a huge amount of ore and returns as a giant, releasing a large amount of molten ore that severely damages the Silver Mine. Luffy and Bartolomeo manage to defeat Bill and they and the members of the Silver Pirate Alliance escape as the Silver Mine sinks into the ocean. As the Straw Hats and the Barto Club head to the Zoo, a powerful man known as Gild Tesoro receives news of Bill’s death.
Luffy, Bartolomeo, and Desire confront Bill, who mocks their dreams of reaching the top of the New World as childish. Bill reveals to Desire that he used everyone in his Silver Pirate Alliance to give him wealth so that he could live the most luxurious life in the world, and asks if he really intends to defeat him and if he really believes that she is stronger than him. Bill taunts Desire and she starts charging at him in anger, but Luffy suddenly flies in front of her with Gear 2 activated and knocks Bill into a cliff. Bill gets up and Desire tries to help Luffy, but Bartolomeo tells her to leave the fight to Luffy. Bill expresses his disgust towards Luffy as he pulls two swords from his chest, but Luffy shatters them when they clash. Bill then pulls out an axe, but Luffy dodges its blows and kicks Bill in the chest before slamming him into another cliff face. Bill stands up and realizes how powerful a person with the Beli 500,000,000 bounty really is. Just then, a squadron of Silver Pirate Alliance battleships arrives on the scene and Bill tricks them into thinking that Desire brought the Straw Hats here to betray them, while Desire tries to tell them the truth about Bill. The members of the Silver Pirate Alliance attack Luffy, Bartolomeo, and Desire as Bill prepares to kill them all with a bazooka. However, Luffy uses Haoshoku Haki to take out the pirates and their battle boats, leaving Bill in shock. Luffy sees where Bill is and Bill fires a cannonball at him, but Luffy breaks it when he hits Bill in an underground mine.
Bill lands deep underground and Tanaka suddenly arrives in his place. Tanaka expresses disappointment that Bill was defeated by a mere pirate and says that the New World Monster will discard him for such a failure. Remembering how the New World Monster brought him and his crew to their knees with the power of money, Bill frantically begins to eat a lot of ore in an attempt to save his fate. Tanaka notices the large amount of ore Bill is consuming, but decides to leave the items with him as he leaves. Meanwhile, Luffy, Bartolomeo, and Desire are running ashore when they are suddenly passed by several members of the Silver Pirate alliance. To their shock, the ground beneath them begins to erupt with molten ore. Meanwhile, in Going Luffy-senpai, the Straw Hats and the Barto Club continue to fight the Silver Pirate Alliance as Zoro and Kin’emon return to help them. The pirates wonder why Luffy and Bartolomeo are taking so long and notice that the Silver Mine is starting to melt.
At the Silver Mine, Luffy, Bartolomeo, and Desire are approached by Bill, who is incredibly large and has molten ore oozing from his skin. The trio decide to retreat, but Bill fires several waves of molten ore at them, which Bartolomeo manages to block with a barrier. However, the trio try to avoid the stream of ore and Desire accidentally falls into a chasm, but Bartolomeo catches her. Desire wonders why he’s helping her instead of Luffy, and Bartolomeo replies that he would never leave a friend, though Desire replies that he did it to her. Bill prepares to attack Luffy with molten ore, but Bartolomeo manages to pull Desire out in time to put a barrier in front of Luffy. The two prepare to defeat Bill, and Bartolomeo creates a barrier hand to push the molten ore back onto Bill. Bill then appears before them covered in silver and says that their dreams are not enough to help them survive the New World as he creates a ball of molten ore in the air. As Bill prepares to throw it at the trio, Luffy lunges at him and hits him with the Gomu Gomu no Grizzly Magnum, breaking through the ore ball and sending Bill flying into his palace.
Bartolomeo is excited to see Luffy fight, but Desire notes that the molten ore Bill created is still there, eating away at the island. On the coast, the Silver Pirate Alliance and the Sweet Pirates get everyone on a large ship as they prepare to escape the destruction of the island. The Sweet Pirates fear Desire, but are forced to set sail. Meanwhile, the Straw Hats and the Barto Club are worried about Luffy and Bartolomeo, but Zoro is convinced that they are fine as Luffy’s vivre card is fine. Just then, Luffy, Bartolomeo, and Desire arrive in Desire’s battleship. Inside the Silver Mine, molten ore pours into the fortress as the entire island sinks into the ocean. As it gets dark, the Sweet Pirates board Going Luffy-senpai and Desire thanks Luffy and Bartolomeo for taking care of her. Bartolomeo and his crew ask if she and her colleagues want to join the Barto Club, but Desire refuses, wanting to pursue her dreams separately and not serving Luffy. The Sweet Pirates then head out to sea as Going Luffy-senpaie’s sails unfurl and the Straw Hats and Barto Club prepare to travel to Zou.
Later that night, a Revolutionary Army ship approaches the Gran Tesoro. Koala notes that the New World Monster resides there, and his power is equal to that of the World Nobles. Inside the Gran Tesoro, Tanaka arrives and reports to the Monster of the New World, a man named Gild Tesoro. Tanaka reports that Bill went down with the Silver Mine, but Tesoro is fine because he already had fun with Bill and now it was time for the real fun to begin.
