Summary:
Brook and Pedro infiltrate Sweet City and find in the newspaper that Jinbe has withdrawn his request to leave the Big Mom Pirates. They then meet Pudding, who is forced to try on a wedding dress, as well as Tamago, who reveals that Big Mom’s Pirates know everything about the Sanji Retrieval Team’s location, with the exception of Brook and Pedro. Meanwhile, on the northwest coast of Whole Cake Island, Capone Bege stands with his family and crew, preparing to shoot the captured Pekoms for not complying with his wishes. He then launches Pekoms into the shark infested waters.
At Whole Cake Castle, Big Mom meets Caesar Clown, who is trying to find out the result of the gigantic research she hired him to do. Caesar, knowing it was impossible and because he blew Big Mom’s money on hedonism, lies that Luffy and Law stopped his research when they destroyed his lab. However, Big Mom reveals that she had her son Charlotte Perospero make an identical lab out of candy, and gives Caesar two weeks to complete the research, threatening that Perospero will turn him into candy otherwise.
In the Seductive Forest, Luffy discovers duplicates of Sanji and Pudding, who act like animals. He grabs them and throws them in a pile, but to his great confusion he finds more and more duplicates of his crewmates.
In Sweet City, the citizens were shocked to read the news that Jinbe had withdrawn his request to leave the Big Mom Pirates and mocked him for his cowardice. Pedro is surprised that the former Shichibukai is one of Big Mom’s subordinates, and Brook comments that Jinbe’s loyalty to Big Mom is why she protects Fish-Man Island. He tells Pedro that Jinbe is important to their crew, recalling their time on Fish-Man Island and how Jinbe agreed to join them after taking care of some business. Brook is surprised that Jinbe would do something like what was mentioned in the newspaper article. Pedro calls Brook to join him around the corner of the building and they look out the window to see Pudding trying on her wedding dress. She tries to leave as she has other arrangements, but her ushers and Tamago keep her inside as they show her possible dresses. Brook and Pedro are shocked to see her there, knowing she should be on the coast and wondering what the pudding Luffy saw was. Brook then recognizes Tamago and Pedro claims he knew the Baron. The chess soldier then asks to speak to Tamago and they go outside. They then pass the locations of the Sanji Retrieval Team and Brook and Pedro quietly panic when they realize that the Big Mom Pirates have known their every move. The only members of the team whose location they do not know are Brook and Pedro themselves, and Tamago claims that he knows Pedro and knows what he will try to do. He tells the chess soldier to continue searching for Pekoms as he wanted to bring his teammate back to Big Mom to ask for her forgiveness.
Meanwhile, on the northwest coast of Whole Cake Island, Capone Bege comforts his young son, Capone Pez, by making a silly face before turning to the captured Pekoms, who is standing near the edge of a chain-wrapped cliff. As he stands with his wife, Charlotte Chiffon, and his crew members, Bege notes how Pekoms’ life is ending just as Pez’s is beginning. He tells Pekoms that he gave him his chance, but Pekoms steadfastly brushes Bege’s words aside. Bege recalls Pekoms’ show of weakness on Zou and says that the lion mink is not cut out for the matter as he aims his weapon at him. He notes that it’s a good place to get rid of someone because the ocean below the reef is full of hungry sharks. When Pez starts crying again, Bege asks Pekoms if he has any last words, and Pekoms yells at him not to underestimate Big Mom. Bege then shoots Pekoms while Pez roars, causing the lion mink to fall into the ocean where the sharks quickly converge on him.
In Seducing Woods, Luffy chases after Sanji, who fails to recognize his captain and acts like a monkey. After a while, Luffy grabs the Gomu Gomu no Ami figure of Sanji and ties it up, and it struggles to resist capture. Luffy prepares to bring the creature he believes to be the real Sanji back to the crew, only to suddenly see another duplicate of Sanji also acting like an animal standing in front of him.
In Whole Cae Castle, Caesar Clown stands in front of Big Mom herself in the throne room and asks about the status of the experiments she has tasked him with. Terrified, Caesar claims that he has been diligently working on his research, and Big Mom reveals that she had him find a way to achieve Gigantification so that all the races of the world could be as big as her and sit at the table together. like a family. Earlier, Caesar tells her that he is almost done with the experiment but needs some additional funding, and Big Mom asks about the results he could find. Caesar inwardly muses that these were all lies, as the gigantization experiments he performed on the children in Punk Hazard resulted in the subjects’ poisoning and imminent death. Unable to succeed, Caesar blew Big Mom’s money on a life of luxury by buying maiden ships to come to the island every night. He was sure that he could escape Big Mom’s wrath if Doflamingo protected him, but once he read the news of Doflamingo’s defeat, he was devastated. In the present, he lies to Big Mom that his research was interrupted after Luffy and Law destroyed his lab, saying that he could only get the results he needed there. However, Big Mom reveals that she had Minister Candy build an exact replica of his lab on Whole Cake Island and asks Caesar how long he can get the results. Caesar is then brought outside to his new lab and is met by Minister Candy and Big Mom’s first son, Charlotte Perospero. Caesar is given two weeks to complete the gigantization serum, and if he fails, Perospero turns him into candy and licks him. Perospero is also in possession of Caesar’s heart, which he uses to torture the scientist, and Caesar remembers Sanji giving his heart to Vito on the Big Mom Pirates ship; then he begins to despair of impending doom.
Back in the Seducing Woods, an exhausted Luffy carries the duplicates of Sanji and Pudding to the clearing where the man is buried. He throws duplicates at a pile of his allies, all of whom act like animals. There are several duplicates of some of his allies and an extremely confused Luffy wonders in despair what is going on.
