Summary:
Luffy desperately tries to break free at the risk of his own well-being. Meanwhile, Chopper and Carrot continue to search the mirror world. Brook confronts Big Mom and Pedro’s past is revealed.
After defeating Charlotte Brûlée, Chopper and Carrot search for the mirror leading to Sanji. They ride on Diesel’s back and carry Brûlée’s unconscious body. Carrot tries to wake up Brûlée but fails.
Meanwhile, Luffy and Nami are still trapped in Mont-d’Or’s book. They are followed by Opera, who mocks them and tells them that they cannot escape. When Luffy’s hands are nailed to the prison wall, he gets the idea to rip his hands off to escape. His hands begin to tear, but he tries to pull away. He keeps trying.
In the treasure room, much to Smoothie’s surprise, Big Mom herself appears to be facing the intruder. Brook explains that his goal is to create a copy of Big Mom’s Road Poneglyph. They are preparing to fight.
Baron Tamago finds and confronts Pedro in the courtyard. They start fighting, but Tamago gets the upper hand because he is wearing tights that are resistant to Pedro’s electricity. They recall an incident five years ago that cost them both their left eye.
Five years ago, Pedro, the leader of the Nox Pirates, invaded Whole Cake Island to search for the Poneglyphs with his friend Zep. They approached the treasure chamber only to be confronted by Tamago. Pedro fights Tamago and wins, causing Tamago to lose his left eye. However, Big Mom appears and confronts Pedro and Zep.
As punishment for the invasion, Big Mom uses her Devil Fruit ability and takes a hundred years off Zep’s life. At that time, however, Zepo had only thirty years left to live, leaving seventy years unanswered. Pedro ends up cutting out his left eye, leading Big Mom to shorten it to fifty years taken from Pedro’s life.
Back in the present, Tamago knocks Pedro into a wall. Pedro says he owes the Straw Hat Pirates for saving Zo from the Beasts Pirates and will spend the rest of his life fighting for them. With that, Pedro jumps at Tamago, breaking his sword and slicing him in half. With Tamago’s Devil Fruit ability, an egg yolk comes out of Tamago’s body.

Reiju runs into Pudding while walking in the corridor with an injured leg.
