Summary

Knowing what he has to do, Luffy takes the fragments of Carmela’s picture and runs to Big Mom. With his family in dire straits, Sanji runs towards them but is stopped by Daifuku’s genie.

Despite Katakuri’s attempt to stop Luffy, Luffy manages to show Carmela’s broken picture to Big Mom. He starts screaming and incapacitates his family and crew, allowing Sanji to free his family. With Big Mom vulnerable, Bege, Vito and Gotti prepare to assassinate her.

As Perospero and the Big Mom Pirates are about to murder the Vinsmoke family, Sanji runs towards them. Nusstorte jumps to strike him with his sword, but Sanji blocks it. Laurin and Dosmarche then attack and Sanji tries to get around them as well. However, he is then confronted by Daifuku again. Outside the venue, Caesar leaves Mirro-World with Brûlée in tow. Brûlée begs her crew not to see her face so they don’t kill her, but Caesar calms her down and looks forward to completing the mission and getting her heart back. He looks over the wall of the venue and sees a broken portrait of Carmel, so he’s not sure why Big Mom isn’t screaming right now.

Inside, Luffy runs to Big Mom to show her the broken portrait, and Katakuri chases after him. Bege, Jinbe, and Pedro stand in Katakuri’s way, and Bege quickly shoots Sweet Commander. Katakuri uses his Devil Fruit power to turn his body into mochi and let the bullets pass through him, and the other Big Mom Pirates are surprised by Bege’s display of betrayal. He shoots at Luffy, but his rubber body deflects the bullets. Luffy is about to place the fragments of the portrait in front of Big Mom, but his arms are grabbed by the oven, which heats them with its Devil Fruit. Luffy drops the portrait pieces and Oven picks them up, but Brook then attacks and freezes Oven. He gives the figures to Luffy as Oven basks from his enclosure, and Brook confronts Oven as Luffy runs. Meanwhile, Katakuri dodges another round of Bege’s bullets before charging at Luffy again, telling Perospero to hurry up and kill Vinsmoke as he runs. Perospero taunts the Judge, who can only cry at the absence of their raid suits. Sanji rushes to his family, but Daifuku summons his genie to attack. Sanji blocks his first strike, and as he runs, Reiju silently expresses his happiness that Sanji is kind enough to try to save them, even though he considers them worthless. However, the genie catches up with Sanji again and pins him to the ground, and Sanji can do nothing but yell at his family to run while Reiju silently thanks and accepts his fate.

Katakuri continues to chase Luffy, covering Bege’s mochi weapon before extending a mochi leg towards Luffy. Pedro chops the mochi leg and Jinbe comes in and uses Fish-Man Karate to strike at Katakuri, but the Sweet Commander turns most of his body into mochi and avoids the strike. He then successfully catches up to Luffy and pins him to the ground with mochi, but as he predicts, it’s not enough as Luffy reaches his hands to Big Mom’s face, allowing her to see the shattered portrait. Big Mom takes the shards and puts them back together, realizing that her prized portrait of Carmel is broken. This causes him to let out a devastating scream that drowns out everyone in the venue and only enemy alliance members can move thanks to his earplugs. As Daifuku backs away and his genie disappears, Sanji breaks free and runs to his family, activating Diable Jambe and performing a spin kick into the top of the table. This causes Perosper’s candy to shatter and free Vinsmoke as Chopper puts earplugs in their ears while Carrot and Nami give them their Raid Suits. Elsewhere, Vito and Gotti come out of Bege’s body with KX Launchers at the ready, and Smoothie gives a shocked cry of anger when he sees what they intend to do. As she screams, Big Mama calls out to Carmel’s mother, remembering the time she lost her, as well as some of the other children, and asks why she left.
