Summary:
Cooks on Cocoa Island leave the candy factory with an unfinished cake and plan to finish it at sea. However, they were approached by Oven, who intends to punish Chiffon. Meanwhile, the Fire Tank Pirates are on their way to the island.
On Nuts Island, Luffy tries to find the mirror while running away from Big Mom.
On Nuts Island, Perospero and Amanda are trying to stop a furious Big Mom from destroying the island when Perospero sees Luffy and Brûlée right below him and Big Mom. He points Big Mom at Luffy and she throws a large portion of the peanut tower at the Straw Hat, forcing him to run away with Brûlée in tow. Perospero creates a Candy Wall and Luffy tries to break it, but his Gear 3 punches are ineffective without Haki. Perospero surrounds Luffy’s Candy Wall as Amande appears behind him and Shirauo tries to slash him, but Luffy dodges the attack and drags himself and Brûlée over the wall, leaving Amande trapped. Perospero then turns the wall into a slug moving towards Luffy and Big Mom jumps on it as she demands her wedding cake from Luffy.
Candy Slug ends up wreaking more havoc on Nuts Island and Perospero and Big Mom lose sight of Luffy. Luffy runs down the street, intending to find a place to rest until he regains his Haki and starts fighting Katakuri again. However, he accidentally drops Brûlée and she hides inside a piece of a fallen building, happy that Luffy won’t find her. However, when Luffy calls her “Branch”, she inadvertently appears to remind him of her name, prompting him to recapture and bind her. With Brûlée on his back, Luffy now heads into the building and attempts to jump through the mirror, but Charlotte Effilée shoots him before he can. Effilée fires at Luffy, but his body deflects the bullets back at her, and he loses her by pulling himself and Brûlée onto the roof. However, he is then confronted by Charlotte Mondée, who tries to attack him with her sword. Luffy responds by putting Brûlée in the way of her sword, preventing her from attacking him. Eventually, Mondée attacks, but Luffy dodges it, causing the building below him to collapse. Luffy continues to run down the street with Brûlée in tow, but Big Mom sees him and unleashes a devastating attack with Napoleon.
On Cocoa Island, Sanji takes glasses from the cook as he changes clothes to head out of the candy factory. The wedding cake is brought out and the citizens marvel at it and hooray for pudding and chiffon. Meanwhile, Pound watches the procession from behind the leaves and is delighted to see his daughter Chiffon. The oven then arrives to stop the cake and wonders why Pudding is taking it out to sea when Big Mom is heading to Cocoa Island. Pudding protests that she doesn’t want to risk Big Mom damaging Cocoa Island, and Oven agrees and allows her to continue. However, he attacks Chiffon and throws her to the ground, intending to punish her for her role in betraying Bege against Big Mom. Pudding wants to stop Owen, but Sanji says that doing so will make him a traitor as well, though he’s not sure how he can intervene.
Chiffon struggles to get up after her brother’s attack, but she is determined to accomplish her goal of letting Nami and the Straw Hats escape safely, and makes it clear to the oven that she is going to finish the cake. In response, Oven grabs her by the neck and prepares to execute her, and Sanji realizes he has to do something. However, she then sees Pound rushing towards Oven to free Chiffon, and Oven releases her to attack him. Sanji then takes the opportunity to kick Owen in the face at high speed just as he was about to engage Pound. The oven is sent flying into the building and Sanji brings Chiffon back to the cart. Pound wonders if he really sent Owen flying, but Owen knows he didn’t when he gets up and slams his former stepfather into a building. Pudding hides Chiffon under a blanket, but Oven then returns to the cart and quickly finds her. He is about to burn Chiffon to death despite Pudding’s pleas when he rings the bell. One of the Big Mom Pirates informs him that they are chasing Bege and the Fire Tank Pirates towards Cocoa Island, much to Oven’s delight. Nostra Castello is getting closer and closer to Cacao Island and Bege is coming straight for Chiffon.
