Summary:

Luffy battles Cider, who equips his most powerful carbon rig. Hancock defeats both Ginger and Guarana, turning them to stone. Cidre unleashes powerful attacks but is unable to hurt Luffy, who defeats him. Afterwards, Luffy gets an invitation to the Pirates Festival and the former members of the Cidre Guild give the Straw Hats many barrels of free cola. The Straw Hats sail to Delta Island for the Pirate Festival and discover that there will be a race for Gol D. Roger’s treasure.

Cidre lunges at Luffy and their fists collide, resulting in a large impact that the Straw Hats see from the shore. They are in the middle of an attack on Cidre Guild members when the other group reveals that they have no loyalty to Cidre and are his slaves. Back near the factory, Guarana and her forces arrive to join Cidra, and Hancock turns all of Guarana’s subordinates to stone. Guarana activates two Carbonated Water Swords to attack Hancock, and Luffy and Cidre continue to clash, with Luffy’s strikes strong enough to match Cidre’s carbonation-enhanced attacks. Luffy manages to fend off Cidre by flying up in a balloon and Cidre crashes into a cliff. Cidre is angered by Luffy’s actions and remembers how he was injured many years ago in the destroyed city of Douglas Bullet. Ginger then arrives to attack, but Cidre decides to retreat into the factory for them to activate their most powerful device.

Cidre enters the factory while Guarana, Ginger and their underlings stand guard outside, but Luffy manages to avoid them by crawling into the factory. Hancock, Sandersonia, and Marigold confront Guarana and Ginger, and Hancock uses her agility to avoid their carbon dioxide attacks as she hits them, causing them to turn to stone. Meanwhile, Luffy races through the factory until he finds Cidre putting on a rig. With this device, Cidre puts barrels on his hands that spin quickly and hits Luffy with an attack so powerful that it breaks through several walls. Luffy is barely hurt by the attack, though Cidre’s power remains a problem. Cider, however, quickly runs out of carbonated water and is forced to refill his barrels. He ends up hitting Luffy from the factory, and as he stands over the pirate, he declares his intention to take down every pirate to get revenge and get the money. Unfazed by Cidre’s weakness and lack of determination, Luffy attacks him with the Gomu Gomu no Elephant Gun. After a brief skirmish, Luffy overpowers Cidre and defeats him. Then he sees an invitation to the Pirate Festival land on the ground.

Later, Buena Festa hears that Cidre has been defeated and laughs mockingly that the bounty hunter has no power despite his hype. Festa looks forward to Luffy meeting Bullet at the Pirate Festival, saying that he could change the world with this event. The freed members of the Cidre Guild give many kegs of Coke to the Straw Hats for free on Cidre Guild Island when they are reunited with those they were separated from, including Caramel. Luffy reveals to Hancock that he received an invitation to the Pirate Festival and temporarily says goodbye to her. As the Straw Hats sail back out to sea, Luffy reveals the invitation to his crew, and to their shock, Robin reads that this year’s Expo will include a Gol D. Roger treasure hunt. Luffy is excited to be going there, and the crew sets sail for Delta Island, where the Expo will be held, along with the worst generation crews. As they approach the island, Douglas Bullet declares that only one person will survive this upcoming competition.
