Summary:
Luffy kicks Daifuga to defend Hyogoro and then fights the guards until Babanuki fires a cannonball at him. Raizo manages to steal some keys from the Prisoner Mines power tower. When Queen arrives at the Prison Mines, Luffy tries to escape with Hyogoro.
Raizo disguises himself as a prison guard to get to the Seastone box containing the handcuff keys. Although caught, he quickly defeats the guards and pins the SMILE crab user to the wall with shuriken. Raizo then runs through the corridors and defeats the guards.
Hyo refuses to tell Daifugu who gave him the meal tickets. He states that the land of Wano used to be full of civilian samurai during Oden’s rule, but has since been replaced by brutal pirates. Luffy then steps in, kicking Daifuga in the face and freeing Hyo. The guards chant to kill Luffy. Luffy fends off some guards until Babanuki, a SMILE elephant user and prison guard, shows up.
Babanuki has an elephant on his belly that sneezes a cannonball at Luffy. Unable to use his Devil Fruit power or Haki, Luffy is knocked back.
Solitaire, a prison deputy and SMILE monkey user, learns about the stolen keys. He blames the crab watcher for not being able to catch the thief.
Just then, Queen arrives at the prison for her “showtime” and is cheered on by the prison guards. He is obsessed with a photo of Komurasaki, unaware of her death. He then takes the stage and performs a short musical number. He is formally introduced as Queen the Plague, the main representative of the Beasts Pirates. As the guards are distracted, Luffy carries Hyo away and attempts to climb the wall to escape the prison.
Babanuki describes the circumstances to Queen, telling him about Kid’s escape, the stolen keys, and Luffy’s escape attempt. Queen tells her men to chase after Luffy.
The anime adds the following:
Raizo is shown stealing the keys to the Prison Mines power tower.
As Luffy kicks Daifuga, he tries to strike with the stinger on his helmet but misses, allowing Luffy to land a punch.
While avoiding his pursuers, Raizo throws spikes on the floor to slow them down.
Luffy fights off the guards before Babanuki hits.
Luffy tries to climb out of the prison mines with Hyogoro.
When Gifter the crab was talking to Solitaire in the manga, there were two other beast pirates next to him. In the anime, the Crab Gifter talks to Solitaire himself.
