Summary:
Big Mom subdues Queen when she tries to fight her. During this skirmish, Kid and Killer are saved from drowning.
Big Mom can’t find any oshiruko, and when Luffy realizes he ate it, she attacks him out of anger. Luffy and Hyogoro are forced to leave the ring, but Luffy manages to remove the collars before they are killed. Afterwards, Hyogoro decides to test Luffy by having him defend against Big Mom’s attack.
Big Mom and the Queen continue their fight. Queen tries to stomp on Big Mom, but she manages to pick him up and throw him down. He then picks up Queen and throws him into a rock wall, severely damaging the prison. This capsizes the beam and plunges Kid and Killer into the water. They fall to the ground, saved from drowning. He also breaks Kawamatsu’s cell.
The prison guards attempt to contact Kaidou in the power tower, but Caribou prevents them from doing so. He explains that the Den Den Mushi variant used in Wano country, known as the Smart Tanishi, transmits very weak signals, so the Boss Tanishi is needed to transmit the signals. Raizo decides to go get the keys and free the other prisoners.
Big Mom looks for red bean soup and finds a pot among the rubble. However, she opens it to find it empty, which infuriates her. She intended to bring the pot back to the town of Okobore as a thank you to its citizens for feeding her. He angrily attacks Luffy, who had eaten the pot earlier. He and Hyogoro are knocked down near ringside.
Luffy finally lets go of Ryu and uses him to rip off their collars. They explode in the air. Big Mom then attacks Hyogoro and Luffy again tries to use Ryuo to fend her off.
The anime adds the following:
Queen tries to attack Big Mom with a dive bomb attack, but she stops him with her hands.
When Luffy asks Kid if he’s okay, Kid replies that he doesn’t need Luffy’s pity.
Caribou disables communications inside the Prison Mines power tower.
Babanuki was told that the oshiruko pot was empty.
After Luffy reveals that he ate an oshiruko, an empty pot is thrown at him.
Chopper worries that Big Mom might have another craving disease.
The scene where the queen hears that Luffy ate the oshiruko is not shown.
Unlike the manga, Queen lost consciousness due to being thrown by Big Mom
