Summary:
Zoro spots someone standing on the surface of the sea. After an awkward moment, a submarine emerges. Slamák is attacked by the Bliking Pirates and their captain, Wapol. First, he asks the Straw Hat if they have the Eternal Pose leading to Drum Island. The Bliking Pirates then decide to steal the Straw Hat’s treasures instead. Wapol, in front of the confused Straw Hats, begins to eat the deck of the Going Merry. Luffy, angry that someone would dare to damage his ship, attacks Wapolo directly, but his Baku Baku no Mi allows Wapolo to eat everything and swallows Luffy’s head. However, the rubber seems to be hard to chew, leaving Luffy time to attack Wapolo with the Gomu Gomu no Bazooka, which sends the hungry pirate flying.
Meanwhile, Vivi heads upstairs to ask about the noise and leaves Nami’s bed. She barely has time to notice Wapol, but he seems familiar to her.
Zoro asks the crew if it is possible for someone to stand on water. The crew is confused because it is physically impossible for anyone to stand on water. Zoro then asks how they would explain why there is a man standing on the water, prompting the crew to look at what Zoro is pointing at. They all saw a strange man standing on the water.
The man then makes a comment about the cold weather. The crew agrees that it’s cold. Suddenly, the water at the man’s feet erupts and a boat appears. Sanji, who was taking care of Nami, rushes out to find out what happened. He stops, lights a cigarette and asks what happened. Luffy replies that they were ambushed. Sanji comments that it’s obvious since they’re surrounded by pirates with rifles.
The captain of said pirates then wonders where the rest of the crew are as they should have more than 4 members. He then asks them if they know how to get to the Drum Kingdom, to which Sanji says no. The mysterious captain then starts happily eating to the shock of the crew, and this angers Luffy, who goes into a fight and attacks the captain, who eats him, just as Vivi comes out to see what’s going on. Luffy then completes his attack and blasts the captain, who Vivi feels she has met before.
