Summary:

The Straw Hats are led by Dalton, the captain of the guard, to Bighorn, a village on Drum Island. There is only one doctor on the island, Dr. Kureha, who lives in a castle on top of a steep mountain. To get to her quickly, Luffy and Sanji decide to climb a mountain, carrying Nami on their backs.
Dalton, the guardian of the island, leads the Straw Hats towards his village. Zoro and Karoo stay behind to guard the Going Merry. The island seems to be at an important time in its history, as strange things are hinted at: it has no name, the villagers are forming a police force, and an election is coming up. But unfortunately for the Straw Hats, there is only one doctor – 140-year-old Mrs. Dr. Kureha – whom the villagers call a witch. He lives in a castle on top of a steep mountain and only comes out to treat patients when he wants to. However, according to Dalton, she is very skilled in her practice.
With Nami’s fever, Luffy decides to climb the mountain instead of waiting for the doctor. Nami agrees and Luffy and Sanji leave with the sick girl on Luffy’s back.
Dalton explains to Vivi and Usopp that their country was recently invaded by a handful of pirates led by Blackbeard. Unfortunately for them, however, it allowed them to get rid of their royal tyrant: Wapola!
