Summary:
The mysterious figure calling Vivi’s name from the previous chapter is revealed to be the Goat, who is shocked to see members of the royal army, including Chaka and Cobra, being beaten and immobilized by Crocodile, “the hero of the land”. Crocodile and Miss All Sunday’s words and the presence of the Goat realized the current situation and asks Vivi who stole the rain from Arabasta. Crocodile tells Goat that it was him and also mentions how much fun it was to have Goat and the royal and rebel armies dancing on his palm. As Crocodile continues to taunt the Goat, Cobra tells the Goat not to listen to him and suggests that he go outside and try to prevent any more unnecessary bloodshed. As Chaka tells Koza that Alubarna will be destroyed in less than half an hour, Koza rushes away from the palace only to be stopped by Vivi. Vivi yells at Goat that telling the rebels about the bomb will cause too much confusion and the war won’t stop and no one will be saved that way, prompting Crocodile to praise Vivi’s judgment. As Vivi tells Koza to try and stop the rebellion, Crocodile steps forward, not wanting this to happen, and attacks Koza, but a very injured Chaka is able to block the attack. Chaka says that he will fight as long as he has breath, and Crocodile mentions that it was stupid. As Chaka offers to hold the crocodile back, Koza remembers training under Chaka as a child.
It is then announced that the rebels are going to the northern region and have almost reached the palace. Vivi and Koza yell at the confused members of the royal army to raise their white flags, signaling their surrender. The goat, who wants to stop the war altogether, also wants to tell the rebel army that the whole fight was pointless. The rebels show up, only to realize that the royal army, including the Goat, are waving white flags. The goat tries to tell the rebels that the fight is over, but is shot from behind by several members of the royal army, who are revealed incognito to be members of the Baroque Cannons. Believing that the royal army is mutiny, the rebels begin to attack.
