Summary:

Inside the castle, Usopp, Nami, and Chopper investigate a room that appears to belong to Cindra. On the walls are photos of a different Cindra than the current one. Nami takes the newspaper and starts reading it. They find out that Cindry was a very famous actress and child prodigy in her previous life. He then discovers that Cindry died after falling off the stage. Then Nami discovers to her horror that Cindry died over 10 years ago. This also scares Usopp and Chopper, both of whom conclude that the undead beings on the Thriller Bark were indeed zombies. Usopp says he had a bad feeling and tried to sit on the crate but missed and fell to the ground.
Nami, suddenly delighted at the prospect of a “super strong box”, asks Usopp to open it. Usopp opens the box only to be a jack in the box saying that this box was not a treasure box. The trio flees the room and walks through the hallway with the pictures. Nami then gets a brainwave that jack said “this is not a treasure box” in the box.
A lonely man wanders the castle corridors. The two figures try to get him but they soon stop and say “That’s the man” and return to their seats. The man says he would capture the intruders and laughs a lot like Brook.
Outside, Sanji argues that they couldn’t recruit anyone they wanted for the Straw Hat Pirates. He states that they have a reindeer and a robot. Franky, outraged at the prospect of being called a robot, starts arguing with Sanji, saying that he is a cyborg and that he is based on a human. Sanji shouts that Franky was based on a pervert and the cyborg pirate laughs it off and thanks Sanji for the “compliment”. Luffy is seen singing on a three-headed dog. Robin then brings up the topic of monsters in Thriller Bark, saying that all the monsters had bandages, stitches, and a number on their side. Zoro agrees and notices the number “82” on the side of the three-headed dog.
A ghost appears which excites Luffy. The ghosts, saying “negative”, multiply and leave Luffy even more. Luffy tries to grab one to keep but fails. Franky shoots one, only to have it go right through. The ghost passes through Franky. At this point, Franky loses the will to live and falls into depression, only to be yelled at by Sanji. Luffy tries to catch the ghost with his bare hands, only for it to go right through, which also sent him into a depression.
Robin comes to the conclusion that when a ghost touches a person, they lose the will to live. Zoro calls them a shame for not trying to train their souls to be strong and control their minds. He says it was no surprise they fell for the “poltergeist trick”. A ghost passes through Zoro, who is also ironically depressed. Robin is interested in Thriller Bark and calls him mysterious. The revitalized Franky and Luffy start cursing the ghost badly, while Sanji taunts Zoro for his “mind control”. They walk through the graveyard where Luffy was about to eat his lunch only to be stopped by Sanji.
Suddenly a hand emerges from the ground and then the top half of a zombie. Luffy just walks over and shoves the zombie back into the ground. Zombie gets back up and says “You think I’d go home you moron?!!!”. Luffy studies the zombie and concludes that it was “heavily wounded”. Franky, Zoro, and Sanji yell at Luffy that he was a zombie. Zombies rise from the ground, dance in the air and prepare to fight the pirates. The Straw Hats accept the challenge and prepare for battle.
The five use a combo move called Beli600,000,000 Jackpot and defeat all the zombies. They all knelt before Luffy, terrified that the Straw Hats would try to hurt them once more. Luffy asks if Nami, Usopp and Chopper came through. Zombie claims they couldn’t answer the question under orders. Luffy discovers that they did indeed go through the graveyard and asks again if the zombies touched them. They all answer no. Luffy asks again and one zombie rats the other, shocking the other. Luffy, Sanji, Zoro, Franky and Robin all leave the graveyard, leaving zombies stuck in the ground upside down.
He calls a zombie and says he wants to tell a story. Luffy states that he was badly injured. Franky, Sanji and Zoro yell at Luffy that he was a zombie. However, this “zombie” turns out to be a badly injured old man. The old man continues and says that he had a certain task for the Straw Hats, that he would be grateful if his shadow was returned to him and the perpetrator stopped from his evil deeds. Luffy tells this story to Brook and the old man says that a man named “Moria” took his shadow. Robin, suddenly intrigued, asks if the name was “Moria the Gecko”. Luffy asks why it was so important. Robin states that Moria had a bounty beyond Luffy and that Gecko Moria was one of the Seven Warriors of the Sea.
