Summary:
The Heart Pirates spot someone killing the Sea King, who then swims ashore near the Heart Pirate location. The person reveals himself to be Rayleigh to their surprise, and even more so when he reveals that he knows Luffy is also on the island. Hancock along with his sisters and Nyon arrive to bring Luffy food just as Luffy and Jinbe meet up with Rayleigh. The two also notice that the Heart Pirates have left, which Rayleigh confirms and tells Luffy that Law said to take it easy for two more weeks. Hancock’s group soon arrives at Luffy’s place. Nyon is surprised to see Rayleigh. It is then revealed that the elder Nyon and the Gorgon sisters are friends with Rayleigh and Shakky. When Jinbe sees the food, Hancock glares at him and says that the food was only meant for Luffy, but then only allowed him to take a little. Luffy and Jinbe start eating. Rayleigh delivers Shakka’s letter to the Boa Sisters. Rayleigh also mentions that he found out Luffy’s location thanks to Kuma after the Battle of Sabaody, as well as Shakky’s intuition after the Marineford War.
Rayleigh then asks Luffy if he plans to return to Sabaoda, which Luffy confirms. However, Rayleigh mentions that if he comes back, the whole incident could start over. He then says that he has a plan and it’s up to Luffy if he wants to go with it.
We then cut to Greenstone Island in the Boin Archipelago, where Usopp, now fat from eating the island’s natural food, struggles to fight his way through a giant horned beetle despite the pleas of his companion Hercules. He is knocked to the ground and Heracles mentions that the further he goes from the center of the island, the tougher the creatures become, making it impossible to escape. However, Usopp doesn’t listen and flies off again just as the Sea Kings, distracted by the island’s scents, begin to approach. Heracles notices that the island is starting to move and warns Usopp to hold on to something as we find out that the island is actually large. carnivorous plant called stomach baron. Usopp is almost eaten, but Heracles saves him and asks what’s going on, noticing that Usopp’s mood has changed since he read the newspaper that one of the newspapers dropped a while ago. Usopp replies that he has learned of Ace’s death and is desperate to get off the island to help Luffy overcome his pain. Otherwise, he wouldn’t be able to call himself a member of the Straw Hats.
Meanwhile, in the Kingdom of Turin, Chopper is ready to leave, having helped the natives and birds of the island come out. It turns out that the reason the birds attacked the natives was because they thought they were stealing their eggs. In fact, the natives just wanted plants near their trees. Chopper also learned about what happened to Ace and wanted to get off the island to treat Luffy’s injuries. Chopper says goodbye to the islanders and goes on one of the birds. They pass News Coo and Chopper grabs a paper from him. He finds something about Luffy in the paper and starts to panic.
