Read One Piece Manga Chapter 659

Summary:

As the volcano erupts, the marines observe the fiery and icy landscape around them, commenting how being on this island makes them feel like Akainu and Aokiji are staring at them. They shoot down the block of ice with their cannons and are stunned to see Smoker gather that there was a river path behind the ice. Smoker merely states that if they had paid attention to the ocean currents, the river would have been obvious. He goes on to say that it’s more of a problem if the ice was natural or artificial, prompting his crew to note once again that there would be no possible method for anyone to live on a gas-flowing island. Tashigi says that the voice on the signal definitely mentioned this island, which makes the crew laugh and declare that there is no way because Den Den Mushi would die as well. He orders them to shoot another ice block if they have time to laugh. The crew realizes that there is another giant block of ice and immediately starts shooting at it.
On the burning half of Punk Hazard, Luffy and Usopp encountered a very strong wind. Robin notes that this is due to the temperature difference of the island meeting in the center of the lake he is currently standing on the edge of. As they wonder how they will cross the lake, which is half frozen and half burning, Zoro mentions that it might be pretty good to swim since he was sweating. Usopp yells at him not to be ridiculous and Luffy agrees since he and Robin can’t swim. This made Robin think of the picture of her and Luffy being carried on the backs of Usopp and Zoro. Usopp yells at Luffy saying they won’t swim and carries them over. He takes the lead and performs his special attacks “Green Star: Boaty Banana” and “Uchiwa Grass”. A ship that looks like a banana appears much to Luffy and Zoro’s delight as Usopp explains that the Uchiwa grass will be their oars. Robin comments on how amazing his seeds are, which launches Usopp into a long rant about his dangerous past on the Boin Archipelago, during which the rest of the members board the ship. Luffy sits at the front of the ship (on a banana stem) and tells them to go to the “Land of Shaved Ice”. Usopp gets mad at him for not rowing while Zoro comments on the boiling water as Robin watches them smile.
The smoker has arrived outside the PH-006 research facility and calms down by ringing the buzzer at the door. His crew around him marvel that there really was no gas on the island and wonder where the gas came from. Smoker tells them it was probably done by someone who didn’t want them there. The crew says they could just shoot the door down with a cannon and tells Smoker to politely stop pressing the buzzer. They are angry and agitated and start shouting that no one is allowed to enter this island and arrest them for bragging about their naval status. Suddenly the door opens and there stands the now warlord, Trafalgar Law, with Beli’s former bounty of 440,000,000. He calmly leans against the door and asks what the White Hunter has in his vacation home. His appearance causes all of Smoker’s crew to flee, except for Smoker and Tashigi. He shouts in surprise why Trafalgar Law, the warrior, is there. They beg Smoker to leave because they don’t want to be involved with someone so crazy that he sent the hearts of 100 pirates to HQ to become one of the Warlords. Smoker tells Law that the island is off-limits even to those dealing with the government, to which Law counters that that includes Smoker.
Rowing into a strong headwind, they hear a voice from the shore behind them telling them to wait. A rock comes flying at them and Zoro recognizes the attacker as the centaur from earlier. Luffy immediately questions again if the centaur wanted to join his crew after all, prompting Usopp and Zoro to yell at him to stop his habit of inviting strange creatures into his crew. The centaur blows his horn and then shouts to the other side of the lake that the intruders are heading there and asks the boss to finish them off. Usopp wonders if it was the Boss that was mentioned in Den Den Mushi. Robin comments that something is appearing on the other side. A huge shadow with many centaur shadows can be dimly seen on the shore. As Luffy and the group wonder if the giant shadow is the boss, Usopp says that if the distress signal were to reach the boss, he would have no reason to want to harm them. However, the shadows see Zoro and his katanas and mistakenly believe that it must be the samurai who defeated their friends.
In the former research institution Dr. Vegapunk on the Icelands, Nami and Chopper are currently taking the kids away with them. Chopper encourages the kids to run if they want to run, prompting Nami to comment that Chopper is in a good mood. Chopper says that since Sanji left them to him, he will do anything to protect them like a man. Nami wonders where they should run and Chopper tells her to figure it out.
In the cookie room of the institution, Franky uses the left weapon to take down a bunch of enemies dressed in hazmat suits. He screams that he has weapons embedded in his body and must be the person who took down the door. They order the filling of poison gas because the children were no longer in the room. Sanji kicks the mask off the speaker and says they should take their masks off and share the gas with them. He immediately attacks the hop and jumps on the heads of all enemies, destroying their gas masks and air tanks. This stops them from releasing the gas shots and also reveals to Sanji’s surprise that they all have horns on their heads. Sanji wonders if they are sheep. At this moment, for some reason, the samurai head they bought with them also seems to have run out of breath. Franky asks him what he’s doing and the samurai says that the guy is no easy task. Franky is confused and the head explains that it is his torso.
Outside the PH-006 research facility where the Thousand Sunny is docked, Brook encounters the hull and asks why it has no head or legs, but gets no answer and engages in a duel with it. Brook explains that all he wanted to do was make a few snowmen while he waited for the others, but the trunk powers up his attacks with the power of his arms to even jump on Brook now. Brook exclaims that it’s too scary and wonders if it’s a ghost. While yelling that it’s scary, Brook counters with his Aubade Coup Droit attack, which he torso dodges. Torso counters with a two-sword fighting style that Brook avoided. Brook, now angry, yells at Hull asking why he is fighting him and asks him to stop. He immediately runs away, yelling that it’s scary and gross.
Inside the same research facility, one of the members of the hazmat suit reports to his master that a warship is breaking through the ice with its cannons and advancing towards the island. The Master, currently going through a pile of lab equipment, replies that they must have some conviction to get this far. The member states that it is Smoker from G-5 and he will arrive soon. The Liquid Master calls Smoker a “troublesome fellow” and orders all ships lying ahead to be hidden. A member asks how they should respond. Master replies that no one should even be here so make sure they don’t find him and he doesn’t get out either. The member realizes something while the Master does not respond to his suspicions.
