Read One Piece Manga Chapter 672

Summary:

The chapter begins with the introduction of a man named Vergo. He asks Law if he thought they really didn’t know anything, and says they sent Monet as a spy because of his boss’ distrust of Caesar Clown. He thinks about Law being a Shichibukai. Law asks him when he arrived and he replies a while ago. He explains that he was in Dressros when he heard that the SAD tanker was leaving, so he got on board, noting that it was the right choice. Law doesn’t believe that Verg’s arrival was so random and asks what he did to hurt him. Vergo replies that if Law had done any harm, he would be dead right now, and says that Law can’t hide anything from the adults. Law then says that he will have to get rid of him and grabs his sword. But before he can even start drawing it, he suddenly drops it due to Verg’s paralyzing ability. Vergo then remembers that he wanted to repeat what he said earlier. He pulls out a bamboo stick and darkens it by infusing it with haki. He then puts it on the back of Law’s head and says that Law should call him Vergo-san from now on.
The marines outside the lab look on in shock as Caesar Clown has now defeated not only Luffy, but also Robin, Franky, Smoker, and Tashigi without touching them. One soldier wonders if it was because of the Haoshoku Haki, but another states that the difference in their strength is not enough for it to work. Caesar’s subordinates rejoice in victory over the marines. The Clown then orders the five people he just defeated to be tied up and reminds them to use the Seastone on the Devil Fruit user. He tells them to leave the marines and enter the lab for cover as strange things have started falling from the sky. He then notices that the Yeti Cool Brothers messed up, commenting that the Law and the Straw Hats were a little too much for them.
In the center of the island, Brook and Zoro have to deal with many drops of slime that slowly surround them. They just learned that cutting them releases a poisonous gas. Zoro suggests that since the things they’re fighting are basically jelly, Brook should eat them. Before they can argue any further, Kin’emon cries out in pain. At the lake, Sanji has to deal with the freezing temperatures and the strain it puts on Nami’s body, apologizing to her repeatedly. He then notices a huge cloud of poisonous gas created by the Slime. He realizes that his Kenbunshoku Haki is quite nebulous as any life energy he senses is mixed with that of the fish. He then looks up to see a shark carrying the carcass in its mouth.
Sanji immediately starts swimming after the shark. Back on shore, Kin’emon screams in pain, even coughing up blood when he suddenly realizes that he is no longer in pain. Sanji is then seen kicking the shark with Joue Shoot. Then it grabs onto the hull and begins to swim back up. A shark tries to bite him, but is instantly killed by the poison in the water. Sanji then realizes that he is surrounded. She wonders if she can handle it with Nami’s muscle strength reluctant to put more pressure on her body. He then uses the Blue Walk to get up and out of the now completely poisoned lake, much to everyone’s relief. Kin’emon, now fully intact and receiving an official introduction, can’t express how happy he is. Brook notices how tall he is. He asks Sanji’s name, and Sanji questions why he’s being so polite all of a sudden, considering he was being verbally abusive a moment ago. He says he is forever indebted to Sanji. Sanji tells him to stand up and stop bowing. Brook interrupts, showing the slime slowly covering them.
Sanji was annoyed that Brook and Zoro hadn’t gotten over the problem yet. Kin’emon suggests they try burning it. He tells them that his blade can burn what it cuts. Kin’emon then proceeds to chop down one of the slime blobs. As it burns, Sanji notices something strange just moments before a blinding explosion engulfs the entire area. Miraculously, they all survived the blast completely unscathed.
Brook asks Kin’emon what he did. Kin’emon notes that even he was surprised because he didn’t expect it to explode the way it did. He then tells them that he simply cut through the flames of the explosion, and goes on to say that his Foxfire style not only cuts through flames, but also has a secret technique that allows him to cut through flames. He then states that he will now go to the lab to save his son. Zoro, his curiosity about the samurai’s fighting style piqued, offers to go with him to the lab to find his son.
