Summary:
Big Mom yells at Bege and Luffy to show themselves, and in desperation, Chiffon tries to get Big Mom to spare them for her and Pez. However, Big Mom only gets angry at seeing Lola’s face in her and continues to attack Big Daddy, pointing out that Chiffon is also complicit in the assassination plot. As Big Mom attacks, her crew stands outside, preparing to attack the enemy alliance once Bege dies to make an example to the world. Inside Big Daddy, Bege continues to convulse as he takes injuries from Big Mom, saying that her punches easily penetrate Big Daddy’s cannonball-proof fortifications. Luffy tries to escape and attack Big Mom, but Nami is held back by Chopper. She points out that they’ve successfully accomplished everything they set out to do and tells him to figure out a way to escape so they can get to Wano Country.
However, Luffy is concerned about Bege, and Bege admits that he would be willing to take his allies down with him, but he certainly isn’t willing to let his crew, wife, or son die. He comes up with a plan where he turns into a human, has Caesar leave his body, and Caesar has him taken away from the venue. Caesar immediately dismisses the idea, calling it suicidal due to the preponderance of armed Busoshoku Haki users at the venue who could easily shoot him. Meanwhile, Judge asks Sanji why he saved them, and Sanji replies that it would make his father sad to see him hold on to childish grudges and laugh at the deaths of his blood relatives. Sanji doesn’t want to live a life where he can’t face his father, and says that Vinsmoke Sanji, who left the Germ Kingdom, died 13 years ago, just as the Judge wanted; he yells at the Judge to accept that the two are no longer father and son, and he no longer appears before them. The Judge obliges, vowing never to go near Sanji or Eastern Blue again.
Meanwhile, Caesar argues to Bege that this plan goes beyond what he has pledged to do, and Bege retorts that Caesar will die too if he doesn’t help. Suddenly, Judge tells Bege to open the gate, saying that Germa will accompany the alliance on their escape. Caesar is horrified that the judge has stepped in, and Bege obliges as the Vinsmokes are capable of flight. Luffy also tries to help, but Sanji stops him as the Vinsmokes head out, intending to clear their debt to Sanji. Bege finally gets Caesar to act by squeezing his heart, and Caesar rushes out of the fortress along with the Vinsmokes while Bege transforms back into his human form. Seeing this, the Big Mom Pirates immediately open fire, but the Vinsmokes block their bullets. However, Big Mom also reacts by throwing Prometheus at Caesar and Bege, and Caesar flies away from the explosion in a panic. The explosion hits Reija, completely oblivious to her brothers, and as she stands up, Big Mom decides to attack her first. However, Luffy and Sanji suddenly appear from Bege’s body and resist Big Mom’s fists to Reiju’s shock. Luffy argues with Sanji, who was the only one who wanted to go out, and the rest of their crew is horrified in fear as they watch the two attack one of the four emperors.
