Summary:
Kin’emon explains to the Straw Hats his plan to recruit those still loyal to the Kozuki family to prepare for a raid on Onigashi in two weeks. She has a kunoichi named Shinobu who comes to train Nami in ninjutsu.
Meanwhile, Shutenmaru and the thieves from Mount Atama are looting the town of Okobore when they are confronted by Jack. Shutenmaru and Jack quickly engage in battle, but are interrupted when Kaido arrives in his dragon form and Kaidou tells Jack to bring Luffy to him immediately.
In response to Brook’s question as to how they will get to Onigashima, Kin’emon states that they have a ship, though it won’t be a long trip since the island is very close to the land of Wano. Kiku says that Kaidou is considered the “King of Wisdom” who protects the land, and every year Orochi and his men go to Onigashima ostensibly to pay their respects, but in reality they are just having a raucous banquet. Sanji hopes that Kiku will fall in love with him instead of Kin’emon once she sees him during the mission, but Kin’emon reveals that Tsuru is actually his wife. He then pulls out a piece of paper with a symbol that will tell the time and location of the planned raid, and his goal now is to hand those papers to those who have the crescent moon symbol on their ankles, signifying rebellion against Qaeda. and loyalty to the Kozuki family.
Zoro and Usopp have been tasked with finding allies in the Flower Capital, while Franky is currently working for the architect of Kaidou’s residence to get plans for it, and Robin is training as a geisha in hopes of gaining Orochi’s audience. she can spy on him and his men. Brook will be tasked with getting food supplies from the capital, Sanji will use his culinary skills to draw people in to help find allies, Nami will disguise herself as a kunoichi, and Chopper and Carrot will go to Inuarashi’s place. Kin’emon has the Straw Hats put leaves on their heads, which they turn into disguises with their Fuku Fuku abilities. Kin’emon then summons the kunoichi Shinobu to train Nami in the art of enchantment, and states that there are three samurai they particularly need to find, as each of them is worth a hundred men. They are Kawamatsu, Denjiro, and Ashura Doji, and Kin’emon believes they should still be alive.
Meanwhile, Shutenmaru and the thieves from Mount Atama raid the town of Okobore and steal the food that Luffy gave to the citizens despite their pleas. Shutenmaru scoffs at the heroism of feeding these people, saying that their gifts are no more now that he is here to steal them, and there are no men left in Wano to lead the samurai to defend the people. An old woman replies that she believes in Toki’s prophecy about the nine samurai granting Oden’s wishes, but Shutenmaru thinks this is foolish and is about to kill her. However, he is stopped when Jack arrives and quickly takes out several of his men with his crocodile mount. Jack tells Shutenmaru about Luffy being in the area, but Shutenmaru doesn’t know anything about the pirate. Jack says that Shutenmaru has only stayed alive this long because Kaidou wants him as his subordinate, and Shutenmaru responds by lunging at Jack and slashing him across the chest, breaking one of the Scourge’s blades. Jack and Shutenmaru then face off in a high-level duel, and the citizens believe that their clash will destroy the town of Okobore. Jack manages to injure Shutenmaru’s shoulder, but Shutenmaru is unconcerned as he says there is no way Jack can take him down. Suddenly, Jack’s men tell him to look behind him as a formation of dark clouds suddenly fills the sky. In the middle of these clouds is Kaidou, who has flown to Kuri in his dragon form. Kaidou tells Jack to bring Luffy to him immediately and Law reveals to Luffy who the dragon is.
