The day after Dobon’s defeat, the Udon prisoners constantly express their admiration for Luffy and Kid. Hyo thanks Luffy for saving him, but Luffy doesn’t take it seriously and gives the old man some of his meal tickets. Raizo then approaches Luffy to reveal that he has found the key to Luffy’s Seastone bonds, but it is inside a heavily guarded Seastone box. Caribou asks Luffy to give him some food stamps as well, promising to be his subordinate if he does, but Luffy refuses and tells him to join Kid. Caribou doesn’t want to join the second supernova because he heard that Kid’s arm was cut off by one of Big Mom’s minions, but Kid overhears and throws his pickaxe at Caribou. He explains that he injured the sweet commander in a battle with the Big Mom Pirates and previously lost his arm in a battle with the Red Hair Pirates. He then states to Luffy that he will be the one to take down Kaido, and Luffy states the same in opposition to Kida, causing Caribou to be horrified by them.
In the Flower Capital, Sanji, Usopp, and Franky watch along with the citizens as oiran Komurasaki makes his way down the street. However, she is confronted by three emaciated looking men who try to kill her with knives. The guard quickly takes them all down with one punch, and one of them, Bingo, looks at Komurasaki in anguish. She remembers how she came to him wanting to be with him forever if he could buy her freedom before Orochi captured her. Bingo agreed to pay the high price without hesitation and sold everything he had, including his home, livelihood, and even his family. He gave all the money earned to Komurasaki, he fully trusted her and therefore did not use any legal guarantees.
After giving the last amount of money she needed to one of his assistants, he later went to her shop to leave the red light district with him. However, Komurasaki’s subordinates laughed at him and wondered if he had really fallen this far. Komurasaki then comes out and reveals that she spent all the money Bingo gave her, and Kyoshiro appears next to her and addresses Bingo as a stalker. Realizing that Komurasaki has tricked him, Bingo collapses and some of her subordinates go to remove him from her shop premises. In Komurasaki’s presence, she addresses Bing and the other two men she conned, calling them disgraceful and saying the men are nothing more than dogs who bring her money. Some of the Flower Capital’s forces then arrive and subdue Komurasaki’s attackers and banish them from the village as they have no money when Komurasaki arrives at Orochi’s palace.
In the village of Amigasa, Tama talks to the trainer Momonosuke and asks him about the sister he mentioned. Momonosuke confirms that he has a sister named Hiyori, saying that she would be 26 now if she is still alive, which he believes she is since he has not heard of her death. Tama says it would be nice if he could be reunited with her, but Momonosuke replies that it would put her in danger, so he can’t do it until their war is over.
