Summary:
The chapter opens with the Marines going into a complete frenzy as the high security Impel Down prison has been successfully attacked by a lone pirate. Catching the culprit is their number one priority. Here we are formally introduced to Impel Down boss “Sadi”. He mentions that the lower half of Impel Down is a hellish labyrinth that a man with no real idea of where they’re going will only end up as collateral damage. Before ordering, simply fortify the surroundings and effectively seal off the outside world. Behind Sadi-chan was a Koala that she apparently sent to hunt down Luffy.
Meanwhile, Hannyabal and Magellan escort Boa Hancock to where Ace is before introducing her like this: “Both mighty and noble! The most beautiful woman in the world! The pirate empress Boa Hancock herself! Whoo! Whoo!” Jinbe and Ace seem shocked, while the other prisoners who are there with him start to riot, excited by her mere presence, and start talking excitedly about Amazon Lily. Ace begins by asking “What do you want with me?” while Jinbe is disgusted by her for shaking hands with the world government. All the while, the prisoners continue to riot, which she makes worse by putting on a cute face and saying, “I’ll be scared.” Magellan then puts it down with his venomous Hydra and urges her to quickly finish her job with Ace. Then she quickly turns around and says she’s done with him. Ace is shocked and asks her if she’s serious, but Hancock simply replies, “I see no reason to lie.” Magellan and Hannyabal stand around, confused by the conversation, wondering if the other heard it. Jinbe asks him that question as well, to which Ace replies with a deeply troubled face, “My brother…! She said he was here.” Jinbe is also shocked and mentions that this is deeply inconsiderate of him.
In the Hungry Hell, Luffy wonders deeply lost where he is as the marines suddenly attack. Luffy gets into trouble with the lion creature before seeing Zoro, much to his delight. Meanwhile, Zoro says, “Not really.” It turns out to be Mr. 2 Bon Kurei, much to Luffy’s further delight and disappointment. Together they defeat the creature and celebrate their reunion. Where he mentions that he escaped death by stealing someone else’s appearance and tells him that he would like to meet someone at level 5 and that they should go together.
