Summary:

There is a tense situation between Roronoa Zoro and Braham as the Shandia and God’s Army continue to war with each other in the surrounding area. Braham suddenly launches into the air and spins behind Zoro. Confused as to how he could jump like that without preparation, Zoro begins to remember Usopp explaining the different types of ripples. He also notes that the lights from Braham’s works make it difficult to determine his position. Braham fires a barrage of bullets, but to his surprise, Zoro dodges and goes straight for him. Zoro prepares “Tora Gari” and Braham notes his now drawn third sword. Tech escapes by jumping to the milky way above him. Zoro follows him by running up a nearby tree and jumping towards Shandia. As they approach in the air, Braham belittles the swordsman for his ignorance of swings and dials. He picks up a small shell and asks Zoro if he knows what it is before throwing it right at him. When it reaches it, it leaves a trail of clouds in its wake, and Braham immediately closes the distance between them, revealing it to be a milk dial. Startled, Zoro is knocked into the milky way below as Braham claims that bouncing around randomly won’t make him a sky fighter. An eel emerges from the path below to eat Zoro, but he slices it in half.
Standing on top of a defeated eel, Zoro thinks that he could probably eat it if he cooked it. This temporary lapse in concentration gives Braham an opening and he wastes no time firing another barrage of bullets. This time he gets Zoro in the leg before he can run behind a tree for cover. Zoro notes his leg injury and decides he needs to take weapons out of the equation. With his glasses on, he emerged from his cover and told Braham that his weapons were useless against him now. However, Braham calls his bluff and knows it’s not sunglasses. He goes on to mention Zoro’s disapproval of his weapons and the leg injury he suffered and promises to finish off the swordsman now. Zoro takes off his glasses and replies that it’s just a scratch, though he mentally notes that he needs more practice getting shot while admiring the eel. Braham fires at Zoro again and he dodges by jumping to the forest floor below. He grimaces in pain from the landing, but fights the urge to scream out his agony as he continues to dodge bullets. When he finally stops firing, Braham asks the swordsman if he is trying to escape. Zoro raised only one sword in front of him and explains the sight, sound, smell, taste, touch and thought; 6 senses can be good, bad or neutral (3 variants of each sense, 6×3 = 18). Moreover, each of them can be clean or dirty (2 variants of each, 18×2 = 36). These are the 36 earthly desires. Zoro tells Shandian that he may have a gun, but Zoro points a cannon at him that exceeds his weapon in both range and power. Braham throws another Milky Dial to reach Zoro and wonders if he’s gone crazy and asks him where the cannon is. As he closes, Zoro tells him to open his eyes wide, he’s about to show him. Braham tells the swordsman to joke all he wants, and as he approaches, Zoro unleashes an extremely powerful flying slash: a 36-pound cannon in the One Sword Style (One Sword Style: Sanjuroku Pound Ho). Braham is slashed across the chest and falls to the ground unconscious. As Zoro retrieves the bag, he tells Braham that it was nothing personal. However, Shandia wanted to eliminate him and he is not the type of person to just wait to be killed. He concludes that he plans to leave the jungle very much alive.
Elsewhere in the forest, the priest “Sky Boss” Gedatsu finishes off the Shandia group. Chopper unknowingly walks right next to the priest and sobs, too fixated on the fact that he’s lost and doesn’t know if he’ll ever see the crew again. He wonders if he is doomed to die, and if so, will he go to heaven, but comically asks himself if he is already in heaven. Noticing that he’s come across ruins, he gets excited that they might all be there already. All the while, Gedatsu wonders what the raccoon is doing there (the Straw Hats don’t know what the Priests look like, and vice versa).
Nami and Usopp are extremely upset aboard the Going Merry as Sanji appears to have been burned to a crisp. Gan Fall is distressed and Usopp comments that he can’t hear a heartbeat. Namie’s eyes widen in fear as Enel’s laugh is heard. Enel is revealed to be sitting on the ship and comments that Sanji was a fool to try to attack him. Gan Fall asks why he’s here, and Enel replies that it’s a pretty cold greeting for someone he hasn’t seen in six years.
