Summary:

In a flashback, Gan Fall came to visit Shandia in their village. This causes quite a commotion as Wyper is in no mood to talk. Gan Fall has come to broker an alliance with the Chief, which Wyper flatly refuses. He says that they will never give up fighting for their motherland and denies the premise that fighting is pointless in light of what was done to Shandia in the past. Gan Fall counters that the Upper Yard has now become an essential part of Skypiea and it’s not as simple as just bringing the land back. Skypiea’s people have become grateful for the land and he does not wish to punish innocent people. Wyper then demands the heads of a hundred “innocent” people as payment for peace, which the knight (then “God”) cannot grant. Unable to compromise, Wyper orders Gan Fall to leave unless he wants to be killed. Desperate, Gan Fall calls out Wyper’s name as he turns to leave, only to enrage him more by using his name. Gan Fall simply declares that he loves pumpkin juice, causing Wyper to snap and attack him. An argument ensues, causing Kamakiri and Braham to be called in to help break it up. Raki is seen watching from afar, commenting on how little Aisa always cries when something terrible happens in the village. He wonders if it’s because of Wyper, and Ais’s mother Isa adds that he’s always at the center of trouble. Isa is actually afraid of Wyper, comparing him to a demon.
In the present, as Ais’ vearth bag lies on the ground, Raki asks Wyper what he did. Wyper silences her and has her cut off Braham. Wyper announces that they won’t get that chance again, and that those who aren’t ready can stay in the village. Confused by this, the Shandia clarify by asking them if they are willing to cross their fallen comrades. Only those willing to do so should go with him because today is the day he plans to cut off Enel’s head.
In God’s sanctuary, Enel discusses his own strategy with what is left of the forces. 50 members of God’s army (including Yama) were sent along with the remaining 3 priests. One of the crew notices that it’s their entire battle unit and wonders if it was worth going all out, but Enel tells him not to underestimate anyone. This only confuses them more, and Enel clarifies: 50 soldiers together with priests, making 54 fighters. 20 Shandia enter the forest, 4 Straw Hats who have already entered, and 3 on the Going Merry (he initially counts Gan Fall, but decides against it). That makes a total of 81 fighters in the survival game. He asks the advisors to estimate how many fighters will be left after 3 hours and they are reluctant to comply. One of the three doesn’t even bother trying to guess, but another speaks up and guesses 50. Enel laughs at the optimistic guess and finally offers his own prediction: after 3 hours, of the 81 fighters currently in the survival game, 5 will be left standing.
Shandia begins her attack on the Upper Yard, but immediately discovers that they are immobilized by an invisible phenomenon. A voice chastises them for the “poses” they are stuck in when it is revealed that Priest “Sky Rider” Shura is behind their predicament. Shura clarifies that the Shandia found themselves in a string test and their survival rate is 3%. Kamakiri realizes that it is the string cloud that immobilized them as Shura continues to explain that they are too thin to see or feel them. Shandia tangled with them the moment they entered the forest and a silhouette slowly emerges as she says the clouds have captured all but one. Wyper somehow manages to escape the String Clouds, and Shura prepares his Fuzu bird for an aerial battle with Shandia. Shura says that no one can beat him in the air as Kamakiri warns Wyper about Shura’s heat spear. To Shura’s shock, Wyper actually drops his bazooka at the last moment and allows the spear to impale him. With both hands free, he grabs Shura with one and places the other on the Priest’s chest. He tells the priest to say his “prayers” to Enel, prompting a boastful response from Shura, who believes that shock dialing isn’t enough to defeat him. Wyper informs the priest that what he has is actually 10 times stronger than that, and activates the rejection button in Shura’s chest. The priest is immediately incapacitated by the massive impact, spewing blood and falling to the ground unconscious. Wyper stands triumphantly clutching his shoulder from the recoil as the narrator announces that the survival game is now limited to 80 fighters.
