Summary:
Wyper falls to his knees in shock, unable to comprehend that Enel could revive from such a powerful attack. He begins to feel the recoil from using the Reject Dial in his right arm as Enel taunts him. Wyper is offended by the casual use of his name and explains that he is a descendant of the Shandia warriors who defended this place 800 years ago. Repeating how his people had tirelessly searched these ruins for 400 years, he managed to get back on his feet. Enel knocks him off his feet with this staff and breaks off his jet dials that contained the Seastone. Enel praises him for being able to stand up again after using the Reject Dial, but claims that Shandia is still no match for him. Enel slams his staff into one of the drums on his back, creating an extremely large bird made entirely of 30 million volts of electricity. The bird stabs the Wyper right through the torso and delivers a massive electric shock that puts the warrior back on the ground. Zoro decides to take the opportunity to marry Kairoseki. However, Enel quickly notices his progress and taps another drum on the back. This will create another very large creature in electric form, this time resembling a giant wolf. The beast charges and “bites” Zoro, incapacitating him with an extremely powerful blast of electricity.
Nami sits in disbelief that even Zoro could be taken down so easily and assumes that Enel will kill them all. He takes a step towards her, but to his surprise the Wyper is back on its feet. Enel questions why Wyper is so persistent, given that he is the only one left alive at this point and that the entire island will fall from the sky. Wyper defiantly replies that it’s all for his ancestors, leading Nami to wonder about his persistence as well. Standing with his body still smoking and his eyes rolled back in the back of his head, Wyper remembers a time in his childhood when Chief Shandia called him to his hut. The chief tells Wyper that his ancestor, Kalgara, had another, as-yet-unrevealed reason for taking back their home. This reason was also the most regrettable for Calgary.
Currently, Enel has accumulated an extremely large concentration of electricity directly above Wyper. As Wyper looks up in horror, Enel issues “God’s Judgment”; an electrical discharge so strong that it blows out a huge crater in the ground while creating shock waves strong enough to blow away the lifeless bodies of Enel’s victims. Now in utter terror, Nami reaches the bodies of Robin and Zoro just as Enel stands behind her. Fearing that they will end up like her friends, she asks Enel to take her with him. Enel decides to comply, adding that people who don’t give in to their fear annoy him. Nami tentatively agrees, hoping not to make him angry any more.
Conis came within sight of Angel Island on her breakwater. In the town itself on Lovely Street, the White Berets announce to the townspeople that the Straw Hats and Gan Fall are on the run. They request that anyone who spots these “criminals” report directly to them as they will protect Enel and his priests.
