Summary:
Daifuku summons his genie to attack Carrot and demolishes several Tarte ships with a single swing of his halberd, but misses Carrot as he jumps up with the helm of more ships in hand. The Straw Hats are amazed by her display of abilities, and Jinbe explains Sulong’s form to them. At first this caused the Norse to lose their wits and attack indiscriminately, dying of exhaustion within one night. Brook then heads out to help Carrot and runs across the ocean with her sheer speed. While Carrot and Brook deal with Daifuku’s fleet, Nami and Chopper turn their attention to the fleet attacking them from behind. Meanwhile, Bavarois notices that Big Mom is acting strange as she is getting thinner and thinner and gasping for breath, calling for Zeus and Prometheus. Perospero notes that these eight hours are the longest Big Mom has gone without her appetite being satisfied, and that she will henceforth be an unknown force. Bavarois then reports that although Pudding is transporting her wedding cake in their direction, she is doing so on the ship Bege, which horrifies Perospero, who bets that the cake will be sabotaged.
At Nostra Castello, Sanji adamantly rejects Bege’s ideas of putting poison or an explosive in the cake, and Bege points out that this is a great opportunity to take out one of the Four Emperors. Sanji said that the chef’s pride is on the line and claims that taste alone will defeat Big Mom. Bege is in disbelief, knowing how many different kinds of sweets Big Mom has had in her lifetime, but Sanji stops him by giving him some of his whipped cream, which immediately floods Bege with pleasure from the taste. Sanji says that Bege can try to assassinate Big Mom after that, but his goal is to fulfill his duties as a cook. This causes Pudding to fall in love and Chiffon to support Sanji’s argument to her husband. The cooks are almost done covering the cake with cream, with two of them succumbing to the smell and Sanji hoping his crew is safe as he approaches them.
Meanwhile, Zeus and Prometheus return to Big Mom, and Zeus blames the long journey Prometheus has on wanting to eat fire. This infuriates Prometheus, who points out how Zeus went against Big Mom by letting Nami use him. Elsewhere, Daifuku’s fleet is in utter disarray, ships no longer able to move and the Straw Hats seeing room to escape. Carrot continues her attacks, wondering how much is left as her consciousness begins to fade. As she dodges one of Daifuku’s attacks, Brook comes up to her and puts one of the ships to sleep. Saying they’ve done enough, Carrot blocks her vision of the moon to revert back to her normal form as Brook carries her back to Sunny. They return, but as Perospero and Bavarois witness the chaos of Daifuku’s fleet, they suddenly see Big Mom preparing to attack as she has Napoleon transform into a sword before leaping towards Sunny. When Zeus and Prometheus arrive, Big Mom rides the former and heads to Sunny with all her weird friends in full force. He then lands on the Sunny and demands his cake, and Jinbe tells the crew to prepare to abandon ship.
