Summary:
Right outside of Sweet City, Nami asks Luffy if he really intends to stay put and reminds him of what Pound told them the last time Big Mom did after Sweet Commander was defeated. However, Luffy is determined to wait for Sanji to return, and the pirates notice storm clouds approaching. Kingbaum screams in terror and then reveals that Big Mom is enraged, causing Nami to realize in shock that Big Mom really does have the power to manipulate the weather as Pound said. In Sweet City, the citizens look up in amazement to see Zeus and Prometheus working together to create a storm, and as the Germa Kingdom’s chariot enters Sweet City, the citizens run to make way for the approaching enraged army. Inside the Germa Kingdom carriage, Niji and Yonji excitedly speculate that an enraged army is out to kill Luffy, who won’t stand a chance against heavyweights like Bobbin, Amande, and Mont-d’Or, whose combined bounty is too high to count. . They mockingly ask if Luffy will really stay in one place like he said once the enraged army arrives. It starts to rain outside Sweet City and Nami realizes that the rain is sweetened. However, Luffy rolls onto his stomach and refuses to even eat it.
In the Whole Cake Castle, Big Mom gets a call from her daughter Anana, who complains that the chef won’t give her knives to mutilate her stuffed animal. Big Mom orders her sons Dolce and Dragée to get knives for Anana, but they don’t want to because she often uses them to pop the balloons she’s hanging from. Another son pleads with Big Mom not to support Anana’s psychotic behavior, but Big Mom is okay with her murderous tendencies and tells her children to get along as she leaves to meet the Vinsmoke family, whom their sister Pudding is marrying the next day. Big Mom enters the dining room and sits at the table with the Vinsmoke Family and Pudding. He expresses his excitement about cementing their alliance tomorrow, and Judge also expresses his excitement about the wedding ceremony. As the two families begin to eat, food and food lovers arrive at the table and Pudding gives Sanji a message that they need to talk in private later.
Outside Sweet City, Nami and Kingbaum plead with Luffy to run and hide as an enraged army approaches them. However, Luffy continues to refuse to budge, even though Nami believes he has no chance of taking down the army. In Pudding’s room at Whole Cake Castle, Pudding apologizes to Sanji for putting his classmates in a bad situation, though Sanji replies that he wouldn’t meet them on the coast. Pudding says that she would take the blame for Sanji going to the coast, saying that once Big Mom’s handcuffs are placed on the arranged husband, there is little chance of escape. Sanji says that only defeating Big Mom’s entire crew can get him out of this now, and he has no allies to help him because his family never really cared about him. Sanji pulls off his mask to reveal his beaten face, shocking Pudding. He goes on to reflect that all his friends would be in danger if he refused to marry, especially Zeff. So, after much consideration, he decided to stop fighting due to having nowhere to run, hoping to spare his crewmates from Big Mom’s wrath. Pudding cries as she apologizes for the situation her mother put Sanji in, but Sanji comforts her, saying that nothing is her fault. He then tells her that his dream at this point is to cut himself off from the people he’s been associated with for the past 13 years after running away from his horrible family life and keep them safe after his adventure is over. Pudding continues to cry as he loudly declares that he will not let their marriage deteriorate like his family life. Sanji doesn’t respond, causing Pudding to be confused and retreat. As Luffy begins to fight the enraged army, Pudding apologizes for not thinking about Sanji’s views on marriage, but stops her when he hugs her and reveals that he is ready to get married tomorrow.
